[Poll] What Switch game should I get?

Hey, just a question I'm curious about. I'm curious about getting a new Switch game.
I don't have access to the Nintendo online service currently so I'm looking for a good single-player experience, and I lost my dock and don't have access to a TV anyways, if that matters much. I want something I could play for a while without getting bored, like a game you'd play if you were stuck on an island. :P
Not looking for suggestions, the games in the poll are the ones I'm interested in. I know three of them are best with multiplayer, but in Smash's case I still enjoy Smash games alone, and the other two are racing games which I've always liked with or without other people.
Thanks!

DEATH BATTLE ROLEPLAY TOURNAMENT

Welcome to the first(and possibly last - this is more of an experiment than anything) RMN Death Battle tournament! Here you can test out your writing skill beating the opponent to death!
Fun! :D

MAJOR DETAILS
  • First off, the tournament will be a classic tree branch system - each round will consist of pairs of fighters, and the winner of each pair will move on to the next round fighting more winners, rinse and repeat. Depending on the number of people who join, some people may sit out during certain rounds. This may be obvious, but I will not be participating, for the sake of fairness.
  • Rounds will go like this: after the brackets are made, I will generate a random location to fight and start it off setting the scene. Then the two opponents will fight until a victor comes out naturally, as in, when someone dies or gives up. Once a victor for one pair is decided, we move on to the next pair and so on down the line until the first round is complete, and then it repeats with the next round.
  • To keep rounds from going on for too long(say, 30 posts between each fighter), I may intervene and decide the victor based on various different attributes rated out of 10 such as Entertainment(how fun your posts were to read), Creativity(how creative you were), Balance(how fair you were), and Clarity(how clear your writing is). Hopefully, this won't be necessary at all, but it acts as a good method to let everyone get their turn in and makes the deciding factor actual RP and writing skill.

RULES
These rules are held pretty strictly because there are only three of them and they are basic rules of freeform RP. If someone breaks these, chances are, things aren't going to be as fun for everyone. Depending on the offense, you may get DQed, meaning for that round you are instantly considered dead and your opponent moves on instead.
  • Be sportsmanlike. No god modding, ghosting, or auto-hitting. This game is basic freeform RP, it doesn't use dice. Trust and common sense is important, and it won't be fun for anyone else if you think you can always hit the opponent without giving them a chance to dodge and dodge every attack yourself. If I catch people doing this, they may get DQed.
  • To add on to the first rule here a little, no metagaming either. For those who don't know, metagaming is when an RPer does things based on info. only they would know. The traditional example is a character knowing another character's name before they are even told it, and your character isn't capable of reading minds. In the context of the tournament, this just means characters shouldn't have prior knowledge of other characters. Once again, any offenders may get DQed if the offense is bad enough.
  • Finally, no controlling other people's characters. If I catch you doing this, you will be asked to edit your post. If you refuse, or it becomes a constant problem, you may get DQed.

CHARACTER SUBMISSION AND SIGN-UPS
Here's the fun part! So, you've read the above stuff, you should know what's going on, it's pretty simple really. Now you just need a character. It can be any character, whether it's from television, video games, books, or from your own imagination(original characters or OCs). To sign up, you fill out the character application below, send it to me in PMs, I'll look over it and, if it seems good, I'll accept it and add you to the list with your app included. I'm not going to be too strict with this, as long as I can understand what's written and you include character weaknesses, it should be good, and even if it's denied I'll tell you why and let you fix it. Note, you only get one character, so make it count.

Participants
AtiyaTheSeeker - Dana Cooper
Name: Dana Cooper
Nicknames: Dana of Wilder, Fox-Tits,
Age: 25
Species: Mutant Fox ("Fox Chimera")
Gender: Female
Occupation: Scout, Herbalist, and Monster Hunter

Appearance:

Personality traits

Likes:
- Music on the radio (especially hits of the bygone era)
- Stories told by others
- Soft drinks (not always easy to come by for her!)

Dislikes:
- Losing at contests and challenges
- Debating against others' opinions (especially ones she dislikes)
- Cold canned meat products

Personality: Adaptable, determined, communicative, inquisitive and youthful. Is also guileful, inconsistent, and a sore loser. Alignment-wise, she's Chaotic Good.

Combat traits

Powers: Has a strong (but not superhuman) threshold for pain and injury. Is able to power electronic devices with the use of her latent magic. Is resilient against mind-affecting powers, such as psionics or illusions. Possesses natural "low-light" vision and heightened sense of hearing and smell compared to a human.

Her main weapon is a plasma pistol that fires high-energy bolts at subsonic speeds. Though powerful and able to deal ballistic damage on impact in addition to third and fourth degree burns, the plasma projected can be evaded at longer distances. In addition, the blaster also possesses a close-ranged "stun mode" which emits cold plasma rings to electrify a target as if using a taser.

Lastly, Dana is equipped with a pen-sized jet injector that can be loaded to inject healing serums, antidotes, and other potions and drugs into one's system, taking immediate effect. She tends to carry at least a couple doses of healing serum on her at a time.

Strengths:
- Can apply traditional medicine skills to battlefield scenarios
- Has good reflexes and reaction speed when aware of others' presence
- Trained in various weapons; is most skilled with pistols and knives

Weaknesses:
- Isn't as dangerous of a fighter without a weapon in hand
- Lesser upper-body strength compared to the average human male
- Atavism (see History) or desperation can lead to her fighting with less skill

History: Born an orphan in a post-apocalyptic world, she was brought into a family with ties to a monster-hunting faction called the Hunters' Den. She trained in said guild since her youth, seeking to help others by her own means. During puberty, she developed a defect mutation over time, causing her to become prone to bloodthirsty and predatory instincts if not kept in check. Despite this, she does what she can for the good of her hometown.

Remember guys, this is all just for fun! A little experiment on my end, but I figured this would be a cool idea to try out.
Of course, there are no prizes really - I have nothing I could give you guys… but regardless, let's keep it happy and enjoyable for every one!

[SCRIPTING] [RGSS] [RMXP] Battle System Error

Hello everyone, it's been a while.

To get to the point, I've got 3 battle scripts going on currently, and that's all I plan mostly. It feels like alot of scripts are not compatible with http://rpgmaker.net/scripts/29/ or http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/37195-charge-turn-battle-ctb-system-final-fantasy-x-tactics-style/ and they are not compatible with each other. I am also using http://rpgmaker.net/scripts/347/ though it is mostly an appearance change for the battle system when you beat the opponent.

It is a NoMethodError
author=The Error Message
Script 'Chrono Cross Color Field' line 213: NoMethodError occured
undefined method 'refresh' for nil:NilClass

When it goes back to the editor and I check the script, I saw this line:
author=Chrono Cross Color Field Line 213
@color_icons.refresh(@color_set)

I know that NoMethodError means that the script is trying to access a method/class that does not exist, but I don't understand what it is referring to or how to fix it. Can anyone give me some insight to the problem? Is it incompatibility? Could someone fix the scripts to be compatible if that's the issue? If not, I'll gladly take out the problematic script(I have tried the Color Field script on its own and while no error popped up, it didn't work properly as in no symbols appeared like there was suppose to)

RPGMVX - Attack Button

In some games, specifically Pokemon, instead of a single attack button, you get a button that brings you to a menu with more attacks.
I had an idea where instead of having the attack, you can choose what attacks you want to use specifically, for example a punch or a kick. Sadly, I have no idea how to grey the attack option out in RPGMVX, and especially not how to get rid of it entirely, so that the skills option is left.
If you have a question, then please ask.

RPG maker 2K3: Modern Tilesets

To get to the point for once, I switched the focus on the game from time limit to time travel. I'm trying to rival my father in this game creation, as I've always felt I was the better one, and all of a sudden he seems just great. Perfect I guess(if it weren't for his mapping, and extreme need to make the player fight. Then again, I shouldn't be saying anything about his mapping). Now, he's actually been helping me, and telling me about his game. But we aren't rivaling on who makes the best game, it's just who is the better designer.
Now, back to tilesets, I have 3 points in time in this game. Past, which is during the creation of the world. Present, the medival/steam punk days of my game. And future, out modern day. Now past and present are down with the normal RTP, but future is a problem. I have no tileset to make a world map, towns, or even buildings, and trying to find some in the RTP style so it doesn't clash, is actually seeming quite difficult. So, I finally got my point across. No catch. Just help me in my search, and I will most likely put your name in the credits.

[RM2K3]The Majora's Mask Gimmick, anyone?

After my Dad finished his game(which I have yet to release, or even finish playing), I remembered that through his work he kept mention "3 day" journey and stuff like that. I always wanted him to try out the Majora's Mask idea, but he had never played that game, and didn't care since he wasn't going to use Scripts for that project. Kind of like a challenge, I guess.
After I started my latest project, taking a long break from RPG maker, I decided I would start working. I wanted to add this die by x number of days system out for quite a while.
I would either like a tutorial to event this, or a DynRPG plugin. Either one is good.
If you need extra information, I plan to have the game take 5 game days before dying, I may change it by 2 days in either direction however(3 days like the original Majora's Mask or 7 days to make it easier). I don't plan to use Time Travel as an idea in the game, which could be solved by just including a time changing feature in this plugin(if it ends up being a plugin), but either way, I have not much information. Just asking someone to help me create a plug-in/event that can help me kill the player if they take too long in-game.

4th wall breaking without text?

I love making creepy, or scary games. Especially when it's scary because it's surreal. It lets me loose, and I'm not held down by logic or reasoning, just do what I want as long as it's fun. Now I remember someone wanted to make an LSD styled Yume Nikki game. I loved that idea. Now, meet Mountain Insanity.

Yes, I know, I suck at this. I had Liberate going, but like I said, I'm being held down by logic and reasoning for that game...and I'm running out of ideas, so there's that. Even the 2K3 version I tried making before(JailBreakOut), I didn't get much farther starting the making of the second part of the game, after your characters are attacked by the main bad guy for the first time. Everyone who knew I was working on Liberate knew I wouldn't finish it, so yeah.

Now, have any of you heard of the game "The 4th Wall"? It's a surrealistic, kenophobic game, that breaks the 4th wall. It also does not have text in game.
Spoiler alert, at the end of the game, your close it. Then it goes to your desktop screen. Then a giant static hand pops out at yo-wait WHAT?
Yeah, that's one example. Another, I forgot what the name of the game is called, but it's a japanese puzzle game that can also be considered horror. There are multiple endings, and it has a story. One of the endings, since the game runs in a window, the girl you normally see in the background of the game is insane. You see, a boy killed a pet of hers when she was young, as a sign of love(good luck with that dumbass), and when she learned her pet was dead, she lost it. I guess she was on the brink of insanity, maybe an emotional crisis happened before, like she witnessed the death of her parents or something, but if a dead rabbit is enough to make you go loco, then someone was wrong with you to begin with. Anyways, the boy, in fear, did not tell her that he did it. She plays this game to keep herself from killing, if she loses, someone dies. Well, to the point, at the ending you see from off to the side, this girl walks up(she is ON the desktop, not in the window) to the Window, walks through the side of the window into the game, and then SPOILER ALERT, she doesn't kill the character on the screen.

I want something like that to be able to happen with VX or 2K3. Since 2K just sucks, and XP doesn't work on my computer for some odd reason(we all know why, there is no sense in hiding it, I just want you to guess), those other two programs are the only ones I can use. Oh, and VX Ace doesn't work either for the same reason as XP.

I would like either a plugin or something for 2K3 that can allow the game to somehow keep running even after the window or game is closed, so that events can still work. That way, if I use 2K3, I could have an animation run after the game ends.

If I use VX, it could be a script or a plugin, either way I would like to see if I could get some help in doing this in VX as well maybe. Since 2K3 is more limited then VX, if it doesn't work in 2K3, it should work in VX.

If you have any questions, please ask. I just want to break the 4th wall in peace! XD
