Oracion and the Secret Music Item...maybe...
Well, this is a request page for a game I'm making called Oracion. Me and my team mate, BlobOfGoo, are working on a slightly-religious game known as Oracion, where you play as a few kids who get between the war of heaven vs. hell, after getting trapped by bandits and fall into an inter-dimensional dungeon leading to the Heavenly Yard and Hellish Yard.
My request here is for something I call a Secret Jukebox. Basically, according to where you are, whether it be a puzzle you have to finish, a secret area that will only allow you in at a random time, ect. I need songs, not just songs that I like, but songs that the people who may play the game like. How this is done is you request an artist, tell me your 4 songs, and the category. These are the categories:
Hell
Heaven
Water
Air
Seven Sins
Dimenion
Yes, strange categories...I guess -_- Well, the artist you choose may have songs that can fit into all, some, or none of these categories, but you people who choose the songs can tell which category they fall in, and no matter what, I'll credit you in the game even if the song is a bad choice. Also, you can tell me if you want to be credited or not, for choosing the songs. If you have questions, as I know I may of been confusing to some, then please, ask away! A mico situation...with a microphone
You know, in my game, Shadow the Hedgehog 2:Revenge of Mephiles, I wanted there to be voice acting. Problem is, my microphone sucks. I don't know how to filter the scratchy fuzzy sound in the background, and it always gets in the way of the music. Plus, it's just f***ing annoying.
Also, anyone want to voice act in my game? Either JailBreakOut or Shadow 2. Doesn't matter.

A song for an MP3
My girlfriend has asked me to add some songs on her MP3, since she doesn't have internet. Well, one of the songs, she loves, but doesn't know the name of, so she sent me on a scavenger hunt for it! And ever since, I've been looking at videos and listening to music non-stop to try and find it! The song is a Hatsune Miku song, it looks CGI, there's Hatsune Miku, and a girl who looks just like her, except she has only one pony tail, not 2. Also, apparently the video is snow themed because of something I heard from her, about a glowing snowman in the background. Can you people please help me on my search for this and give me an idea for what I'm looking for, or if you find the video/song, post it here please. I'd be very grateful! And I bet my girlfriend would be too!

This is probably going to only happen once, and it will hopefully get my newer game going. I bet only some of you know of my game, JailBreakOut: Kingdom of Jade...well, of you don't, then here are 2 videos about it:
Well, my problem is:Everything. I realized that as one or 2 things get better for me, everything else goes to shit for me. First of all, the music: I can't do it right. I have gotten better with the program I use for MIDIs, but as usual, I need to learn the program...and music in general, and that will take too long for the release date, which I was hoping to be sometime this year.
Then, while my mapping and story making have gotten better, some of my eventing...has gotten worse, if you look through my second video, it'll point out some of my eventing mistakes and glitches. One for example, is a glitchy sprite when the screen is suppose to get darker when inside the cave, the character just spazzes out for a nano second...IDK WHY!
Then...I want the game to seem professional, though it does include ALOT of RTP. So, I would like voice acting...the problem there is...the program I use to make it, has too much background sound. It's difficult to get the unnatural fuzziness out of the sound...
The jokes, though not all games are suppose to have jokes, especially this one meaning to have drama being it's main point, I feel it's not meant to be a dramatic game, but a comedy, as it will show 3 things, Mario and Sonic, and my sad life, plus a few on the way through the journey moments, like when Julie and Samuel begin fighting, and Julie pulls the Bugs Bunny switcharoo on Samuel. When they meet Julie's fake mother, it's meant to be all sad and depressing...then Samuel pulls a groaner of a joke...you probably couldn't even call it THAT! It ruins the whole scene.
Mapping, as I've said, in my eyes, has gotten WAY better, and my music...yeah...but, I still don't want this project to fail. I already took away my idea for the 4 towers, because when Julie leaves the group, Samuel can only fit 3 more people into his group, which are going to be me, Mario, and Sonic.
Each place, has to have it's own looks, and originality. Jade is supposed to be a world that can't decide what it is, a world of small buildings compared to the people, or a normal place under attack by it's own king.
I can say that I'm doing well with the game, but these things listed are my reasons for needing a production team for this. So...can I get some volunteers?

RPG maker VX Ace...why...why did enterbrain make it slip out of my hands?
I...I...can't believe it...Enterbrain, is an idiot...
You may of heard me talking about problems with VX and XP, because they don't work on my computer because the resolution is too high for my computer. Well, I read here, on a topic about RPG maker VX Ace, about it's resolution being somewhere around 540x600 or something around there. I was so happy, I waited for a while for it to come out, and realised that someone made a fan translation, and I downloaded it, and it's either the guy's fault or EnterBrain's fault, but, I can't get RPG maker VX Ace to work on my coputer for the same reason as VX/XP! WHY, I wanted to use ALL the RPG makers that came out, one part of my dream failed when I realised RPG maker 95 doesn't work on my computer...well son of a bitch! VX ACE DOESN'T EITHER! Even with fakeres or any other resolution changing program, it doesn't work, NONE of them did! NONE! They all displayed the same message! I don't know why Enterbrain thinks it's a good idea to make someone buy a new computer or use one that you barely go on anymore, because this is the worst thing ever! If it carries a virus by using it, I don't want to infect a computer I barely use! And if I want to use it, I'll have to! WTF ENTERBRAIN! MY PARENTS AREN'T JUST GOING TO GIVE ME A NEW COMPUTER FOR EVERY PROBLEM!

gamist, narrativist, simulationist...WHAT THE ****!?!

These are "gamist", "narrativist", and "simulationist". Your examples describe how to structure a game's flow in a way that is highly conducive to narrativist design and flow. And because you are yourself a narrativist, you identify this approach as "best".
But the truth is, a gamist might find that having challenging guard encounters that require thought from the player is overall more important than making the player feel like a badass. And a SIMULATIONIST, like myself, might concern himself with rendering the game world with greater versimilitude...where were these guards trained? How are they equipped? Would they really be cannon fodder, or a near-match for the hero? The same applies for the baron himself.
Yeah...what would you consider me, or yourself, in this group of players. I'm not sure, and never knew people were classified about what they like in games, and are there any more other groups? Please answer, and I don't know where this goes, so could you place this where it should if it doesn't belong here?
Game Journal-Christmas Edition
This is a winter holiday contest, so be joyful! HO HO HO!
WHAT IS THIS?
GaJoChriEd is a game making contest where you make games based on your life, you can make it as interesting as you want, as exact, as exagerated, whatever you want that will make it fit your life in your eyes AND make the game interesting! This is meant to be fun, and I will make an example project, but, what I want is for you guys to make your own lives into a game. Each holiday from now on, I will make a new journal competition for each holiday, and you don't have to do just one holiday for each, like for this month, you don't have to just do Christmas, especially if you are spanish/not christian. I hope you have fun, and here are some rules and guidelines, and I will edit for each time to show who is in this competition, so "sign up" if you want, and if you have any questions, then ask! O.K.?

GENERAL GUIDELINES
-You have more than a month to submit your entries
-Must be winter holiday themed
-You have no limits other than to be at least slightly realistic, besides, you don't want people to think you are insane or crazy, it's your journal/diary made into a game, if you make it where you are killing your friends when in real life it was just a mere argument, then where will you be?
-You can use any program or any resources for your game, but if you want yours to be more realistic, you may not want Super Mario Bros. X(especially since it doesn't work on my computer), and seeing how VX and XP games are the only XP and VX things that will work on my computer, be careful with those if you are using them

PROJECT RULES
-Must be done by the end of December, and if not, I will extend it to the end of Winter, and you can do more holidays then, otherwise, no!
-Must be a true game, and if your life is just sitting on your computer, eating potato chips all day, make THAT into a game, and if you have no life...then...what the hell are you doing here?
-You must make sure your game won't crash, or have any glitches that will ruin my game, sure the occasional harmless glitch is funny, but no...NO HARMFUL GLITCHES!

A:It was meant so no one tried to be "lazy" in the sense that they are not doing everything they can to make the game, though, in my example, I wasn't going to use custom graphics other than recolors and generated graphics...but another reason was that people, unless they are amish, then why do they have a computer, live in a modern day, technology is more advanced then before, so since the RTP was of medieval time, I tried to take out that rule to make more sense...
Q:What does the gameplay have to consist of?
A:If you want to know, it's got to be like a journal, but with an overhead view, to where you can play the character(you) in a RPG way, your next question though:

Q:Supposing an affirmative answer, even if I could work with the RTP, would I be able to to complete what I'm thinking about in three weeks time? Hrmm...
A:Well, if you were to treat your game like an actual journal, edit it every day that something you think is interesting that goes on in your holiday, and with the extra amount of time I said that I would give if you weren't finished by the end of December, yeah, you should be able to finish, especially if I allowed RTP, and because of the 'complaints' I've been getting about no RTP, and yes, I know you aren't complaining, I just don't know any other word, I guess constructive criticism(?), I will aloow RTP.

2K/2K3 scripting program request!
I heard of a program that allows you to script like in VX and XP, in programs like 2k/2k3, and I would really like to see, and get this program, and maybe people should go and check the submissions for scripts and add 2k/2k3 scripts to the list, because people may want to use scripts for those programs...
