Realistically, you would be a complete moron to think you can hold your own with a sword in a world with guns. A 8 year old girl can beat a master swordsman who've trained 40 years of his life.

Those number are astronomical, unheard of of any RM game I've ever ran across.

Tried the game out. Got past the first area. Though already bored, tried to progress. Ultimately gave up and alt+f4'd.
Hmmm, I thought the beginning of the game was done stupendously and grabbed my attention immediately, and the quality remained throughout. Though this is not a "perfect" game, i.e. universal praise, as one doesn't exist, so at least I believe your experiences...

I wholeheartedly agree with every thing FG says; this is most likely the best RM out there, by a couple of miles. As he has mentioned, it is hard to criticize something that has so few flaws and so many things that just click and work together, not to mention the absurd amount of polish that went into this game.Other RM games have attracted rampant fanboyism and been pretty terrible. Popularity is not a measure of quality. To say that this is by far the best RM game out there is to claim that you've played every RM game out there.
If you have fans, then you've done something right; quality can have a lot or very little to do with it, in this case, I believe it has a lot to do with it, but to each his own.

Leon's Blast Revolver kills Erin in one shot during their second confrontation...
Best way to avoid that is to prevent Leon from using it altogether. The Breakdown Field is pretty much essential if you're really planning to fight him fair. I'm not sure if you'd have EX Crush Fields at the time, but they'll certainly help if you do. AP Crush Field and Erin's Sniper, if you can get it off, as well as the Debilitate Field, will help to also prevent him from using Ether Round too freely once he's unable to get his Exceed. SPD Boosters would really help as well, since those extra turns are essential in order for you to do damage while staying alive. Erin isn't that great at doing damage with just her abilities, so it'll take quite a while ( Leon's HP is buffed up considerably if I remember, kind of like fighting Green back in AA ). It's been a while since I've fought him, but that's what I could remember.
And if all else fails, just throw Combat items. Leon should be weak to Shock and Psych. If you do take this route, try to equip a Mode that has a positive gain on HP per round, such as Assault, but stay away from ones that lock status, as you'll still want SPD Booster.
Beat him by throwing 3 level 2 force type combat weapons, there were lots of explosions in the air. Didn't know he was weak to Shcok and Psych, on second thought, how are we suppose to know? I just figured he was "humanoid" so I went with force.

October Mafia! RMN Themed
Urgh, that was somewhat terrible. Not a good first mafia experience that's for sure. Count me out for the next one, for I don't think I'll be active enough to really contribute to the game, even though I was pretty active relative to some of the players last round, though I doubt I was anywhere near active like how your "supposed" to be active in a game like this.
