Yay, the electricity's back! I was expecting it to take much longer. Hopefully it stays on this time.
I also hope nothing in the fridge went bad.

I'd ask "how's our other Florida residents doing", but some of them might be waiting much longer to get power back :(
Hopefully that's the only real problem they're putting up with right now.

Now, if Jose could just kindly stay the fuck away... I don't want another 2004 season, man

e: @Corfaisus, have you seen the one where they try to explain the Bible in MMO/RPG game terms?

Randomizers

Well, Pokemon Uranium, which is an RMXP game, introduced a randomizer mde for their anniversary update. Not sure if they talked about how they did it anywhere, though.

The Name Game

Looking through the Latest Posts section for a bit shows that there's been quite a few triple+ posting incidents lately.

e: this post took a bit longer than usual to go through and I was really starting to hope that it would end up multi-posted as well. It would've been so perfect...

He who fights fires should see to it that he himself does not become a fire.

Yes, you become the Human Torch. For, like, a minute I guess and then you die.
Don't do it.

I gave you guys the "Make sure to add 3 years to any Target Completion Date you see" tagline

...

I don't think I've really been of any other use since
orz

e: wait, is that one even still around after the "negative tagline" purge?

What are you thinking about right now?

I know RMN got its resource-download function working years ago, but I only just now thought to update my one music submission to properly utilize it. While doing that, though, it occurred to me that in just three months I'll have officially been here for FOUR YEARS. And I still haven't really done much of anything.

Fucking hell.

^ Have you ever played the Fedora Spade series? If not: They're freeware Game Maker games. A bit more on the "old PC graphic adventure" side of things, with menus and inventory and such. It's been a long time since I played those, though, so I have no idea if they're still easily found on the internet.

Then again, looking back in history, the destruction of oppressive symbols have always stood out strong and been remembered. Berlin wall, for a great example. The building and destruction there-of is a big memory of an oppressive regime that came and went and the destruction of said wall became a symbol of the human spirits who could not be divided. I doubt this will have the same lasting remembrance, but it's still showing the emotion of the moment.
Yeah, they might be about 150 years too late to match the Berlin Wall moment.
I think they should've simply carted the thing off somewhere. Smashing it will probably just play into the "violent/intolerant left"/"revolutionary-wannabe millennials" rhetoric.

e: wait, I think I have some news stories mixed up. So, the statue in the GIF was just something protestors did on their own accord someplace else? That's... an even worse look, honestly.
