would Midis be better than OGG in file size?
Absolutely. Midis also sound like hot garbage though and can perform... weirdly, on modern operating systems sometimes.
Yeah... I'm assuming the modern MIDI malfunctions are limited to engines like RM2k3 where it uses whatever your computer is set up to play MIDI with, rather than XP and onwards where it's played through DirectX.

Too bad RM never supported any kind of Module files :o

ps: I like those few RM games I played where they had audio music files that basically sounded identical to if they just left them as MIDI

off-topic, but

Tekken 7 is 61 GB.
turns out it's is mostly uncompressed, pre-rendered cutscenes. Cuz, yanno, people play fighting games for the story

Pizzeria Simulator, what Engine works BEST?

Oh, yeah, it might be worth mentioning this game

pretty sure this is Game Maker. Not the kind of sim you're talking about, but it is a sim.

Unity or Game Maker are probably the best thing for this.
okay Unity or Game Maker huh? well if you had to pick, which of the two would you say is the most "noob-friendly"? :P

GM is easier to get started with because the GML language is deliberately simplified for this kind of purpose, and the engine automatically handles a few more things than Unity (or its rivals Unreal and GoDot) does. However, like with RM (but not nearly to the same degree), that immediate ease-of-use can sometimes translate into limitations that have to be awkwardly worked around.

For you game in question, it's possible that if you can get past the initial hurdles of Unity and friends' more traditional programming languages, then the data-heavy aspects of a sim might become easier to manage with their language's superior features.

I hear some game downloads come with an episode of Friends

Well, with dogs a "pound" can refer to something like an adoption center, which in that case would definitely weight more than 1 lb of feathers or anything else, but that's really stretching the words here, huh? :p

ps: just remembered to wishlist this on Steam!

Anyone here invest in Bitcoin? XD I splurged a few weeks ago and made a nice profit so far. But I'm having my doubts about the long-term.

The bottom of this page for me right now has an ad for "Free Crypto Masterclass - Expert Reveals Top Cryptocurrencies Set To Overtake Bitcoin".

e: and after posting the ad now has "Ignore Bitcoin - The Big Money - No One's Talking About". Apparently the real money is being made with "penny cryptos" :o

It's not like I wanna make games or anything, b-BAKA!
