Writing End-Game dialog is really tricky, especially when you've been building up to it for so long!

I've gotten the dialog all the way to the second-to-last dungeon and the big confrontation with the Last Boss and the Hero. I feel really pressured to try to make it all be good enough XD;;

Oh god, I believe it. Trying to make your ultimate moments feel ultimate sounds so hard ;_;

Give it time and sleep on it when you need to! Good luck :D
I quoted the bible. that's some good fantasy right there.

E:
seriously, I did quote it.

Thanks! I've taken a break to let my writing creativity recharge. I'm getting there, a little at a time!

That means I can use a random bible verse generator to write the whole thing :P

At the risk of sounding like some writing snob, I would say not to try to make them epic. Let the natural tensions built up throughout the journey just come to their natural conclusion. I've always felt that players can very quickly pick up on a project that, "tries too hard," to be epic, and they end up losing all believably.

Slash has it right: Give it some time. The epicness of the finale will fill itself out naturally.

That's good advice! Thanks, Red :DDDD
You're talking about Luxaren Allure, right? Well, whatever it is or it isn't, I wish you good luck! :)
I’d laugh if you ended up writing something like this after all that:

Hero: ’Sup.
Villain: HAVE YOU COME TO STOP ME, OH, RIGHTIOUS ONE?
Hero: Probably.
Villain: - THEN WE SHALL FIGHT!
Hero: Whatever...I need a good laugh.

*vanquishes*

Villain: …YOU ARE TRULY STRONG...STONGER THAN I…
Hero: No shit.
Villain: …BUT ALAS – MY TRUEST FORM!
Hero: Ugh...

*defeat*

Villain: - NOOOOOOOO!!! *poof*

Heroine: You’ve done it, hero. Now everything is peace.

*20 seconds of nothing happening*

Hero: ...What the f...?

Did I just read Pom fan-fiction?

... I never even played Pom, yet that's the first thing that came to my mind.

endgame stuff

You must make a game with this ending. You Addit, not unity, you.

I will play it, and if you are very unlucky, review it.
You know what, I should make a game that’s centered around such retarded dialogue like this and make the graphics clash with everything else and really make it one of the most hilarious, if not one of the worst games imaginable.

The only problem is that I have such high standards… (But maybe I could make it work?)

Yep, it's LA, and the dialog is between Karuna and Darkloft ;)

Addit, use it as a form of catharsis for whatever is bugging you.
