Dev Log #5: March Report

I like your chart layouts, I'm going to steal them for future projects. B)

Also glad to hear things are coming along smoothly!

literally EVERY MV game submitted to this site has overblown screenshots and i've given hope. maybe we should implement an auto-resizer?

I'm already downsizing my screenshots from 3840 × 2160, what do you want from me? :P

I don't know how long King of Grayscale or Road to Paradise are, but you'll have at least a few weeks anyway.

Shooty videos have started going up. It's three parts long plus one little addendum. The rest will become available in the next two days.

Not for sensitive ears. B)

Welp, Shooty Ep.1 was a one-sitting game. It took me just over an hour to get through the episode. The recordings are going up for the next few days, and I'll write up a review/draw up a picture soon enough. It's nice to do short games sometimes. :3

Hope you had fun!

I wish short games were as quick to make as they were to play through... -_-

This looks sick, I've seen some pretty interesting battle setups in MV but this is a first.

Next up, I'll be playing Shooty and the Catfish. It will be recorded as well, so stay tuned!

OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I feel like if your gam is inspired by Earthbound or Yume Nikki, you probably don't need to bother to say it, because the influence will be very obvious.

I haven't played Earthbound, Undertale or Yume Nikki but people who play my games keep saying I must be a big fan of them. That's just how the cookie crumbles I suppose.

Is VR Killing the JRPG?

I think VR is getting a lot of real-world applications, more so than in gaming. Companies are using it for 3D modelling and looking at scale prototypes without having to manufacture them for example. I think for the not so distant future VR is going to have a much bigger impact in commercial environments than it will in consumer ones.
