I got banned from a forum today for saying, "Okay, I'll follow the forum rules."

Makes sense, since if you had to say that in the first place you didn't follow them before that statement, so deserved a ban.

Doesn't make much sense because the reason I got to reply was because it was a warning. Then they banned me for saying I would comply with the warning.

The initial violation was over the term 'grievous characters' which is apparently inappropriate whereas 'those characters cause me grief' is not a bannable offense?
