Could someone help me with design? I just need to know great tips on how to design my own characters, monsters, backgrounds, etc. Even learning how to make sound stuff would be awesome! Thanks.

Hey i am getting this for christmas (my trial maxed out today :'( ) so I would like to know any helpful stuff you guys know. Anything. But mainly how to design your own monsters, characters, attacks, backgrounds, and maybe even sound effects. Thanks in advance!
