Production update #1

Hi guys! I'm just going to post what I've gotten done and the schedule for the next week or so. Believe it or not, this game has only been in production about a week and a half, and I have gotten a HUGE amount of stuff done! I feel really good about the game.

For the people who played the original, the part that I am currently making is the mansion scene with Revar. For the mansion, I'm adding a couple of rooms. You can rest in one of them like an inn.

A little note, some of the names of towns/characters have changed, and some have been removed completely and replaced with new characters. For example, Lanx's name has been changed to "Fargo" inspired by the Chrono Cross character. Also, the witch-lady has been removed completely. She has been replaced with a new (and better) character.

Items have been renamed and their prices have been jacked up. You can no longer abuse the "elixers" from the beginning of the game. In fact, you can't buy them at all! Also, the names now reflect the items from Chrono Trigger. "Potions" are now "Tonics" and so on.

The battle menus and techs are VERY different this time around. For the battle menu, you have five options for everyone (Except Ayla). Those are "Fight", "Tech", "Item", "Run", and "Row". No more "White Blessing"/"Skill" whatever BS. All Techs are now made for each character, and they are the "Chrono Trigger" techs. =P

Weapons are also straight from Chrono Trigger. I actually spent a whole two days working on equipment, items, and techs alone. Oh, you also can't abuse the weapons anymore. The ones that are sold are rather spread out across the world. The later weapons are also not broken anymore. They only attack once. All of them. However, if you still need massive damage, "Luminaire" does about 4500 damage to all enemies on the screen.

There's quite a bit more deep stuff like that, but I'm gonna save it for next weeks update. I'm gonna update this thing every Saturday. Anyways, I hope you guys are looking forward to the game! I'll see you next week!

Two days is actually a very small amount of time to work on the equipment, items and skills.

So much so that I am wondering how well done it could be!
By two days I mean at least 20-22 hours. I've been working on this game nearly all day every day.
