Sorry, it's actually down right now. There was a problem with missing files.
I'm re-uploading it now. Or you can get it off megaupload instead:

Yes, but just in case, use a blue cube Terminal to save (If you still have the older version). I'm not certain that it won't freeze your game on startup if you transfer the save without doing this (has to do with me changing the code for how saving the game on the world map works).

It worked, although I got stuck with a Phase 1 meat shield for a while. He disappeared around Tournament Round 3.
I'm at the Slums now and just got my ass handed to me by a trio of thugs. Why is it so that not once have I beat any boss on my first try? >_<
I don't like how few coins you get after each fight, I have to spend all that I acquire on Stimulants to heal my party and have nothing left to buy equipment and combat items. This sucks.

Okay, I'll increase the amount you get per battle.
Most bosses are probably going to beat you down the first time. They usually all have some kind of trick or gimmick that stacks things in their favor. Just look for ways to counter what they do (I guess money would help with that, huh. Hold on, I'll upload a patch for this)

Download this new database file. It increases the amount of money you get from drops. Let me know if it works out or if you're still having money problems.

"Event script referenced a "shigunichi" that does not exist."
Whatever the hell that means.
Appears after launching RPG_RT.exe.

Works great :)
A couple of thing I noticed:
- AP boosting ability on Violet is worthless. You get only 1 more AP, whereas you get 2 AP by guarding AND you reduce damage. Make it so that it gives you 3 AP at least. Same with Scott's EX ability - why use it when I can simply attack and get 1 EX AND do some damage?
- Vice makes you unable to use EX abilities, which also makes it pretty much worthless. I tried to take advantage of it in the Slums boss fight, where you have an automatic Excess field (the perfect scenario for this item) and all it did was to enable the use of the PSY Bullet attack IIRC, which is not that strong. Having a lot of AP by itself with no EX is useless.

Afterall you accumulate EX and AP for the super move, if you can't use it then what's the point?
I can see it being handy when and if Erin joins the party, for easy healing OR if there exists a character with high AP low EX abilities.
BTW, what exactly do those +25% damage if blah blah weapons do?

Thanks for the feedback.
- Good call, I'll change the AP Boosting ability to boost 3 AP.
- Using Scott's EX Boosting ability will give him +1 EX on top of what he gets from using an ability in general. So doing that actually gives him +2 EX.
- Admitedly, some Modes aren't going to be as useful as others. Vice is only useful for certain setups or situations, such as a character with high AP low EX abilities like you say. You might not be able to use it now, but somewhere along the line, that might change. :P
- The "Reaver" type weapons increases your damage by 25% if you're using the same element ability as what that weapon has. But if you try to use an ability that has any other element, it'll reduce the damage to 1. So Violet using "B Reaver" (which is Burn elemental) won't be able to use her "Shooting Star" EX ability, since it has a Force and Freeze elemental affinity (She can use it, but the DMG output will be just 1 per hit).

Whooo, finally, a large, great demo. Love it so far. The only complaint I have is one boss.
I've played through up to the elevator shaft place. Every boss before gave me either no trouble, or very little. I could play the game normally, without having to grind or anything. But this boss. This freaking black ball with an eye surrounded by smaller balls is SO freaking ANNOYING. He has too much health, does too much damage, and completely ruined a pleasurable experience. Hopefully I can beat him soon so that I can go back to my fun, but that's the only thing I can see wrong with the game. Great work.
