I know the spriting is incredibly patchy. The "Unknown Proctor" turns into like three different people. Any walking animation is just turrible. I also know the compression is awful. D: I feel like it's pretty obvious what's just unfinished vs. poor judgment, but feel free to mention it if you don't. There's some tileset errors here and there during the "dark hour" segment as well... And yes, the sprite for the big shadow boss will be more intimidating than the dinky little VX RTP one. You'll see what I mean. XD Anyway, it's SOMETHING. :B

Well you got the style down! It's a world away from the modern-society stylings of the Persona games (feels a lot closer to the sci fi entires of SMT, actually) but the atmosphere is definitely distinctive. Liked the flickering lights in the elevator sequences a lot.

I did feel a little uncomfortable with the use of the Dark Hour in this game, though. So much of what happened in Persona 3 was tied into its mythical structure/evocation of the Fool's Journey/themes of death and sacrifice that I'm worried that using those elements in a different game without the accompanying structure might drastically weaken the effect.

What I've seen of this so far is intriguing, though, so I guess I'll wait and see what you'll do with it? Anyway, looks promising.

It's not really the "Dark Hour" at all - it's a "suppression core break," which usually only happens on the Full Moon. It's Shadow Energy soaking everything, so I envisioned everything would resemble the Dark Hour. Notice I also threw in elements of P4 with the static.
I agree that the walking animation looks... terrible. What I like about it though is the tanktop :D It's absolutely sexy. XD

Are you also doing the animation for the day-day transition that P3 and P4 have?

Yeah. I think I'm going to have a digital clock-type animation with numbers running forward (as though counting every millisecond that passes).
What I mean is the same thing they used in P4 the Animation, to tell as if it's the next day... transition thing.

That's what I meant too. XD You'll go to bed, the datestamp will disappear from the top-right, and then a digital number display rapidly counting off will represent time passing to the next day. In P4, they showed the calendar rotating.
Ah... Ok. I thought you meant the huge clock before dark hour hehe... Ok then...

BTW, just curious, Social Links are still available, right? Wouldn't it be funny for an awkward social link hehehe :D
