New Battle System = New PE Experience

After a couple weeks of looking, and customizing, and editing, and blahblahblah... I finally readied to Vampyr SBABS to work in the game! I had to test many things over and over, spending almost 3 hours today getting all enemies customized and all weapons ammunition-compatible, plus a lot more testing. BUT there is one small thing I can't quite figure out yet. When an enemy is defeated, it leaves a transparent, negative silhouette in its place. It becomes impassable but will respawn when you leave and re-enter to room (like its supposed to). Ill work on that, but in the meantime, have fun!

When an enemy is defeated, it leaves a transparent, negative silhouette in its place. It becomes impassable but will respawn when you leave and re-enter to room (like its supposed to).

I have no idea if this helps, but I use "Erase Event" regardless of whether or not the party defeats the enemy or retreats. I do this because if I just made "Erase Event" happen on winning, then it's totally possible for the enemy that the player just ran from to randomly walk right into the player again.


*Edit: This assumes you use totally random walking patterns. If you have code in place that has enemies track players within a certain distance, "Erase Event" becomes a necessity for an "either way" scenario.
