As cheerful as short, mind you. :x
But thanks for Darren and Glenasawrus for giving it some of their time. It's always appreciated. :)

Look like they're not the reader type. :p
There's quite a lot of texts at the begining, since I have to make some exposition about the characters and the world. That's why I split it between non-mandatory "NPC" along the road. You can skip most of them by going left from the very begining (the map loops on itself for this reason).

Also, Life Precious isn't a A-RPG, unlike what they seemed to expect. Going head-to-head to militiamen is not a good idea. It's all about exploring and reflexes. Like a fancy Pacman, with story, puzzles and looting.
All of this is explain in the (non-mandatory) dialogs in the "talk" option.

Sorry for the hovering skeletons. That's how the tilesets were designed by Enterbrain, and it was too much an hassle to correct given the purpose of this project (to make a full game with VX ACE Lite).

I'm surprised they didn't take the north stairs, and backtracked instead. I thought it was quite obvious, by begining on the south of the map, to try to get to the north.
That's why it's interesting to look at other players playing your game. Their approach is always different from what you had expected.

On a side note, they should push up the volume.
I could barely hear what they were saying.
