Terence's Tribulations

Story: The story was great~! Terence (spelled both Terrence and Terence at points in the game, but I only noticed because I'm way too attentive to detail TT) was great, the difference in speech style between Terence/Noah and Eric/Natalie was jarring at times, but the plot was interesting and funny! The twist at the end was good, though I'm not sure what I would have done in the fight against the Demon King without the Ultima Sword XD! I didn't really understand a few of the jokes (it seemed like they were in-jokes, but I could just be missing a reference TT).

Gameplay: There were a few small things that I noticed - Noah is in two places at once during the cutscene after defeating the ghosts, the descriptions for Natalie's various elemental fist attacks were all the same (they all say Fire damage), and channel doesn't boost Natalie's BP (the BP system seemed to have a couple of bugs in general, BP seemed to carry over at odd times), but aside from these nitpicky things the overall gameplay was challenging (very challenging at times!) but fun!

I liked the skill and level progression - it made the boss fights feel meaningful, and allowed the random encounters to be almost entirely unnecessary. The not-so-tiny medals were a nice touch, too.

The spread of chests was just right, and the gear progression felt natural and allowed for some interesting customization options when combined with the stat-raising items.

Graphics/Sound/Atmosphere: I like the mapping, especially the overworld map. At certain points I found myself wishing for a different screen-tone in order to set the scene a bit better - in and around the Demon King's castle and in the forest-maze in particular. Not a lot to say about the RTP music, there were no times where it didn't fit, though most of the time I felt like it just faded into the background.

Overall a very enjoyable experience! Congratulations on making such a fun game within a week!
