CloseSorry to rain on this parade, but you didn't defeat the tour guide :( She got bored of the fight and ended the battle. The fight with the tour guide automatically ends at ~turn 14, but you can defeat her before that turn.

Well, the battle ends with the same animation, cutscene, and ending as when you kill her, so I consider it defeated :p. Seems pretty much impossible to actually deal the damage to kill her in >10 minutes.

True, true. Actually defeating her within the turns would take longer as you'd either need to find more party members and spend your Something on gold, or spend time getting all that gold and using that Something to go to level 99/getting the merchant to party you...
