Hey everyone !

I'm still working on the CBS, you can see here an example of a starting battle :

Precisions about gameplay :

Battles in map will always start like that, there aren't random encounters, exept in the world map.
You can see that we have a mix of tactical and classical RPG where you can move your characters to a square and choose to attack or not. After using all characters or pressing enter, the player turn will end. Naturally, you can attack in the order you wish.

A character gain experience points according to his involvement in the battle (number of actions, missing attacks, effective attacks, or critical hits). But if a character did absolutely nothing, he would earn a minimum points even though.

More details and screenshots to explain that soon !

PS : Of course you will be able to play it in full screen HD ! Yay /o/

What in the wide world? That looks fantastically amazing. I love the smooth animations, and the point of view. Everything is so slick! I commend you on your fantastic efforts.
Personally, it's giving me a Nintendo DS feel, but maybe that's just me. Love it nonetheless :D
I take that as a compliment, I love DS games' graphics.

Really thank you for your support. :)

However I need to take a break for 4 weeks, I have to pass some exams...!
I meant it as a compliment, and good luck on your exams, I know how stressful that is. I just took the ACT last week (ugh)
You should definitely blow off your exams so that I can play this sooner.
Well, this looks awesome and I've subscribed but ... is there really only one usable skill per character? That kind of cancels out the benefits of tactical combat, for me at least.
Of course not ! There is only one talent per character (maybe it's a bad term ? I'm french so I can't be sure), you can see it on the main characters' description. That's a kind of unique passive. On the other hand, there are 8 classes with several different skills ! I think I will talk about that part in my next blog.

Thanks a lot, I can't wait for the end of my exams ! ;)
Oh, that's great then! And please make sure to give enemies some skills too, though!(preferably even the basic ones, as attack-only cannon fodder is always boring.) I wish this didn't need to be said, but unfortunately newer games on here keep on ignoring such crucial elements of design.
