CloseHey everyone! When asking myself how I can be a part of the community, the obvious answer of playing other RMer's games sprang to mind. I've decided to put what I know about RPG Maker and gaming in general to write reviews from both a developer and gamer's point of view to help both parties when looking for feedback/picking a game that suits others to play.
Choosing to go with this topic instead of randomly reviewing games is so I can get to people who actually want feedback on their games, whether unnoticed or to have another opinion on what's been reviewed before. With that mouthful out of the way:
Other awesome game testers:
♦ I won't be doing let's plays for a while, so if you want to see your games played by another human, I suggest Link_2112:

Preferences:
Honestly I don't have much of any; I love games of all types, but I mainly put this here to say that a game's difficulty won't deter me, nor will non-rpgs. Longer games are fine too, so long as the requester understands that keeping notes on much longer games takes a good amount of time.
Note: I won't be making Let's Plays at this point. Maybe sometime in the future, but for now it's just to give feedback.
Rules:
♦ Make sure the game you request is your own, whether as Lead or a supporting Developer.
♦ Let me know if the game is going to take more than a few hours to complete.
♦ Feel free to make your request on this forum thread, or by PM.

Because I'm now practically required to mention it in every review request I see: How about Okiku, Star Apprentice? My best guess is that it would take no more than two hours. Alternatively, the Legacy Reborn demo, which will take, like, maybe twenty minutes?

Alright, added.
Just a heads up to those requesting; I'm basically putting the Queue's in order of who asked me first. The only time I might put priority over someone else is if your game is like over 30 hours long; I hope that's understandable.
Thanks to some downtime until November, I'll have time to really immerse myself in each request.

It looks awesome SnowOwl, I added it to the list.
Edit:
Was able to finish through the first game on the list, clocking in about six hours in length. Probably going to play Bunraku soon, if I didn't already seem crazy enough. I am enjoying myself thus far though.
PS: After a review is accepted I will be deleting the entry from the list after a number of days. This period of time is there in order to give the game exposure to potential players who happen to check out this thread.

Farmyard Chronicle is a fun little non-rpg that is only a couple hours long. It's cool how you have a universal preference. You'd probably enjoy Farmyard's shift in genre. :-)

I feel like I ask about Whisper in every review thread too, but why not~? Shouldn't be more than a few hours.

Two reviews are now officially up, and I've downloaded all the games so far yet to be played. I'll probably finish Touhou Fantasy by tomorrow, and Bunraku was a joy to play through.
Could you give my game Infection a shot? :)

Hopefully everything goes right for you and nothing bugs up. If stuff DOES bug up, let me know so I can fix it up for you (I MAY have to pass along a fix patch for a particular area, even though nobody else I know had any issues there...). ^^;

It's the 5th actual dungeon of the game, where one of the puzzles seem to break somehow. Every other puzzle/area should be working perfectly. I say ACTUAL area because um...you may have already guessed it from going to Eastern Forest ahaha...yes, it's set up that way on purpose believe it or not. One of the very few areas I actually allow the player to go to at the start of the game out of order. ^^;

Well, I was initially hesitant about introducing Seraphic Blue that I've recently finished translating seeing that you have only until November and that the game is about 50 hours long, but seeing how fast you've played and reviewed other games, well, I suppose why not?

Yeah I'm the type that likes to focus on one game, so with all my down time stuff just gets done. Since I'll be working on my own game too, I'll probably just do one game a day as long as they are under the 10 hour mark.
This means I'll be getting to Seraphic Blue by the start of November where work comes back into play. So it'll probably take 5-8 days to finish, but I'll still play through it.
Honestly in all my time with the maker I haven't played many RPG Maker games over the years, and this helps me do that. Unless something is completely unplayable, I'm going to do my best to play from beginning to end before I review the games I go through.
Anyway, list is updated, decided to get available reviews their own spoiler tab.
