This doesn't work. I tried resetting the keys but it didn't help either. Sorry to bother you twice in such a short time.

No need to apologize.

Make sure that you've activated the skeleton in the magma caves before attempting to use the shortcut. The skeleton engages a conversation between you and two other travelers. This unlocks the shortcut for use.

And when you are ready to use the shortcut, press the "A" key to jump into it.

The blue ring isn't in the actual game. Someone was having an issue finding the entrance to the "shortcut", so I uploaded this to help him.
