Explication

C:TGGTEWOWB is divided into three modes of play, currently called the short game, normal game, and epic game. The short game functions like a demo or tutorial, or a bite-sized coffee break friendly session. It contains about 30% of the locations and items that will be in the final game. The epic game is the "full rock" with everything turned up to 11. It has everything. And the normal game (and default mode) will be somewhere in between, with around 80% of the locations and items included and a shorter overall duration.

All of the game modes use the same locations and items and systems--the longer game modes just use more of them. The major difference between the game modes, besides length, is story. The longer game modes are increasingly more narrative focused and more serious than the shorter ones. The short game is rather story-lite and humorous. The epic game is relatively narrative-intensive and serious. And again, the normal game falls somewhere in the middle.

That should help explain the characters section. Although the protagonist of each game mode has the same appearance and name, he certainly isn't the same person from one game to another.

Characters

Short Game

Gordon Quilayne is, genuinely, a person of no particular importance or repute. A resident of the hamlet of Lennisgrove on the peaceful island nation of Ilandria, Quilayne is possessed of no particular trade or occupation. His parents were killed in a political purge by the Ilandrian army at the tender age of three. Since that time, he was raised by his aunt, the semi-famous Ilandrian scribe Scylla Quilayne.

Since the death of his mother's sister on his twenty-first birthday, Gordon Quilayne has done more or less nothing different than what he did to occupy the first two decades of his life, which was pretty much...nothing. He has enjoyed reading, swimming, eating and the aimless and semi-successful courtship of various village girls. But as those girls have turned into women with husbands who are gainfully employed, Gordon has not really grown up, and has certainly not learned any useful trade or apprenticed himself to any skilled tradesman.

While Scylla Quilayne left Gordon her rather spacious manor, and enough funds to keep him in bread and ale for a year or so, the Ilandrian property tax is rather notoriously steep. With no income to speak of to pay it with, the ne'er do well Gordon has amassed quite a debt to the crown in the past two years of his idyllic, lazy existence. And the crown collects its debts...

Having the same appearance/name sounds rather confusing, honestly. I like the name "Quilayne" though.

If it does, I must not have explained it well; the games exist parallel narratives, so the Gordons will never interact with each other. They don't exist in the same world.

The name is fully changeable by the player, anyway.
I have a question is there a time limit in the game, like defeat the boss in 30 day (in the game not real time)or having 1 milion gold?something like that

Excellent question.

The 'Short Game' (the demo release) has a time limit of one week (technically eight days) although that is explained in-game. The goal is to amass 10,000 Royals.

The 'Normal Game' will have a time limit of 30 days. The goal is to amass 100,000 Royals.

The 'Epic Game' is planned to have a time limit of one year. The goal is planned to be, approximately, "become a god".
Favorite Word: "Shit."
