Just wanted to let everyone know (especially those faithful Manifest subscribers) that I purchases a copy of Rpg Maker VX Ace a few weeks back, and have been busy creating a foundation for a new game in the tuture. I like to think the evented systems so far are pretty complex and will raise some eyebrows when the time comes =).
I am hoping there is someone out there with the software and the know-how to put together a trailer for Manifest...preferably someone willing to play it through to the end, or someone who has, and enjoyed it enough to play it again. If you are interested or have any questions please send me a message. It would mean a great deal to me. Thanks.
For those who might be on the fence about downloading and playing Manifest, I
thought I'd let some of the people who have gone on the adventure convince you. Their feedback has been added to the game's main page...check it out! For those
who are convinced, I hope you enjoy.
I thought some people might get a kick out of the two photos I recently posted. My wife threw a launch party for me when I finished and posted Manifest a few weeks back. Apparently she went to a bakery and had a custom cake made based off the game. The boyfriend of the baker played the game so he could relay some ideas to her, he got really into it, and continued to play well after the cake was finished. In the images section I've posted two digital photos of the cake. Yes, that is a cake, and it is all edible. Pretty neat, I thought.
Just wanted to let everyone know that I've created a "Manifest" page on facebook. If you're playing or have played the game and enjoyed it, I'd love for you to check out the site. Sharing the page is a great way to share the game with anyone who might enjoy it. Spread the love this holiday season.
Just wanted to let everyone know that I've updated the download in response to a bug that occurs near the end of the game. When fighting against a skeleton archer, he tried to use an attack animation that didn't exist and the game would crash. I highly recommend that anyone who downloaded the game before 12/22/11 download the most recent version and carry your save files over. Anyone who hasn't downloaded it, shame on you, and you won't have to worry about the bug when you do download it.
Thank you for taking enough interest in this project to view the thread. This project is a fulfillment of a childhood dream and it is very dear to me. I whole-heartedly believe that if you play Manifest through to completion you will find your time was well-spent, and that you will see some things that have never been done before in Rpg Maker. Happy gaming.
