Infinity 2: Tales of the Rings Expansion Pack

I've considered doing expansions for the first game in the Infinity series. But the first game featured one main map, and adding elements to that map would kind of break the format. With Infinity 2, I made things alot more advanced coding wise, and I made the world larger in terms of maps. Adding new areas to Infinity 2 fits with the map setup.

So instead of working on a new Infinity, Infinity 2 will be the main game I will be releasing expansion packs for. Improving, and making Infinity 2 even better will be a fun project, since the base game is already there.

The first expansion pack will be called Infinity 2: Tales of the Rings.

Tales of the Rings will introduce magic, and new storyline elements into the game. Plus TotR will introduce the first-round of general updates. Possibly elements from the first Infinity, including dating, pick-pocketing, etc.

Tales of the Rings will also introduce new characters, updated NPC interation, and more.

Overall, I'm excited to work on expanding on Infinity 2, and making it even better. Plus working on an expansion pack with an already completed game, allows for more creative freedom, without worrying about the technical bits.

Until Infinity 2: Tales of the Rings is released, the original complete game will still be updated. As of writing, the latest version is 1.1. To install these new expansion packs, all the player needs to do is overwrite their old files. Meanwhile their original saves, will work with the new expansion packs.
