Hey just a little update, on game progression. Unfortunately I haven't got as much done as I would have liked. For some reason the easter weekend apparently meant cleaning spree, in my house. -.-
Other then cleaning I've mostly worked on mapping, it tends to be my favorite aspect of making the game. I'm not the fastest at it, but I think the overall results are fairly O.K.(least I'm happy with them).
>Carrina Port (exterior) I've added this to the end of the "rough cut chapter one" download, so you can look around it. (Talk to the Flame spirit in Orphans Hideout, select no to the first question. Then she'll ask if you want to look around some locations.)
>Ohitsn District (exterior)
>The Alleyman 1st + 2nd floors (interior)
Also I've delved into the world of scripting for the first time, (still looking for some lessons by the way). I haven't made any of my own, but I'd still like to develop the custom battle screen I designed.
Into the game I've added :
>Yanfly Engine Ace - Ace core engine.
>Yanfly Engine Ace - Battle engine.
>Yanfly Engine Ace - Party system.
There all pretty sweet I'm especially fond of Yanfly's Party system, it opens up a lot of possibilities. (Well so do the others to be honest).
I've decided to add a little bit extra to round of chapter one. Which involves a night time jaunt through the streets of Langok, battling monsters and guards to catch up with Karin. Before the cut-scene gets underway.
Anyway here's my to do list for the immediate future:
>Add extra section to the end of chapter one (It's mapped it just needs eventing / night time putting in place)
>Map all exterior Locations
>Map all interiors
>Map all dungeons
Again any advice or tips are appreciated. (Especially if you know how to add night time). ^,^
