Most of the mapping is finally complete. In terms of size, the world of Infinity 3 is huge. This is without the soon to be added battle maps. Right now there are multiple towns and cities, with multiple exploration maps (including a land map).
An escape option was added to the exploration maps. Meanwhile I may need to add a transport system to the game, since it can actually take awhile walking from one map to the other.
It should be noted, for the VX Ace vets, that yes I am using modified Sample Maps. Those maps work perfectly for the world I wanted to create. And with some updating, and some additions, they look beautiful. New graphics like smoke from chimneys, wildlife, and weather effects have been added.
Meanwhile I am currently working on a possible farming mini-game. I've always wanted to make farming a part of Infinity. On one of the new maps, you can purchase a large chunk of farmland. That would be the perfect place to add in a new kind of farming mini-game, giving the player a new source of income and item rewards.
Pickpocketing has finally been added. Pretty much every NPC on outdoor maps can be pickpocketed. Unlike in Infinity 1 however, the NPC's won't disappear. And you won't be able to pickpocket them multiple times.
More to come.
