Claret
Skyborn's protagonist. Grease runs through her veins, she is a mechanical prodigy. She owns a repair shop with her brother - an inheritance from her MIA parents. She fatefully crosses paths with Sullivan, setting off a series of events that call upon her expertise as well as her unshakable sense of justice, and make her the heroine of the day.

Click her to hear Claret's theme, which doubles as the game's main musical theme.

Sullivan
One part pampered playboy, one part well-meaning clumsy fop, one part hero with a heart of gold. He is the son of the most prominent human mogul, the owner of Blackstone Industries, Silas Chesterford. His journey begins with a simple airship repair at Claret's shop...

Here is the theme music that plays inside Blackstone Industries.

Corwin
In stark contrast to his employer, Claret, Corwin is a gentle, cool-headed, understated soul. He escaped his extremely troubled childhood with the help of Claret and her brother, but continues to suffer from the oppressive tactics of the Skyborn, always demanding he divulge his secrets. What is he hiding?

Speaking of secrets, here's Ancient Secrets.mp3.

Dhacian
The quintessential Skyborn warrior. Besides his martial prowess, he is calculating, ambitious, and irrevocably dedicated to the cause of Skyborn supremacy and total subjugation of the ground-bound races within the Skyborn's dominion. His passion for this cause will bring him to the greatest of heights among his people, but to what end, even he cannot anticipate.

March of the Skyborn Dominion.

Chaska
Known as a monster or a creature to the locals, Chaska ekes out a living in the darkest depths of an abandoned coal mine at the lowest tier of the city, the Port District. To the locals, she appeared without warning - a child with horrifying mutations. When Claret and Chaska meet, the consequences for everything, the tyranny, the rebellion, the world of magic, are far-reaching to say the least.

Chaska is cute, and so is her music.

Alda
Alda, a full-blooded Skyborn, is unique in that she neither lives in the sky, nor bears allegiance to the Skyborn Dominion. Some say she is not to be trusted, others appreciate that a formidable master of the twin double-glaive technique, as well as combat magic, is not necessarily the enemy. But what would compel her to break her bonds with her people, even to the point of bringing her blades to bear against them?

Alda is majestic and stately, much like the alabaster towers of Skyborn cities.

There's more, but they don't get portraits, so they're expendable.
