Hey guys,
I just noticed that I couldn't link my youtube account, because the site automatically puts a "www.youtube.com/user/" before the name, but since google+ im just allowed to have a link like that: "www.youtube.com/channel/ *random code*"
To change my link I would need to have 500 subscribers, I think.
Just a little thing that I noticed, thanks for listening :D
You can just paste in the link and it should work?
The link then turns into: "https://www.youtube.com/user/https%3A//www.youtube.com/channel/UCSU3tvTM0kKZ00i8cUKyOog"
And my User-ID:
doesn't work either, maybe it's just my browser :I
I dunno..
Apparently your channel doesn't exist.

Go to your channel page and copy the link there, then paste it. That should work.

I see your issue. For some reason you're adding https://www.youtube.com/user/ to the start of your link.

Use this link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSU3tvTM0kKZ00i8cUKyOog
Paste it into your youtube spot. If it does it again, adding the first part (it shouldn't) then just add UCSU3tvTM0kKZ00i8cUKyOog and see if that works. You'll know it does if you hover over the link and it shows the above, bolded link with not differences.

(If it still doesn't work, I tested it on your profile with your Website option and that works. I removed it after, but you could use that instead and name it after your channel name.)
But the above should work fine.

Actually, you're right. This isn't working. I'll report it and we'll see if we can get it to work again. Thanks for pointing it out!
I forgot to mention that I tried that, the thing is that my channel link is "youtube.com/channel/" not "youtube.com/user/" so just adding the code doesn't work, or did I missunderstand you?
But I just added it to my website, didn't think of that, thank you very much :)
Actually, strike all of that. I found your issue.

Click on your About bar on your channel page. At the top the link will change to http://www.youtube.com/user/yournameishere/About

Just copy the name after User and before About in the link and paste that in the youtube section. As you can then see, you do have a user name. Good luck~

(Oh, and I know it works because my youtube link is currently your channel. ;p Well, it was. I just changed it back, but it was working fine. ^.^)
Woow, I didn't know that, weird youtube
You are a genius :D
Nah, just realised something hinky was going on with the way channels on youtube are linked. I noticed they used /channel instead of /user, which is the form that we use on the site. Once I figured that, it was a simple matter to check the about page to see if there might be a link to your user profile there. The idea occurred to me because it's possible to have secondary accounts tied to a main account on youtube so I figured that you might be using a secondary account and not the main one. ^.^
Yeah, but YouTube really is weird, the link even changes to /user after checking my "about", even on my feed, I dont get it :D
I think its just that it goes to /channel if I click on "my channel" on the left menu ^^
I like this forum, even though my english isn't that good, and I use the same words too often, people are very nice here, usually I dont register and just read some stuff..

I have the same issue. But when I click about I get nothing.
It just uses the same gibberish / about.

This could be a problem to my region restrictions.

What you need to do its fix the code so it doesn't automatically set the first part of the website to user.
Send me the link to your youtube and I'll see if I can't find the part you need to add for it to work. ^.^
I noticed something similar to facebook links. Every time I've clicked one it says the facebook profile doesn't exist.
Hm... I think the issue is that you used a space in your user name, which is causing the issues. Maybe change it.
