Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate is an indie role-playing game developed by LusterMX for the RPG fan community. It provides a unique experience unlike other RPGs in the community and has been made to provide the most complete and fulfilling downloadable gameplay experiences players can enjoy.
One of the elements which set Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate apart from other games of its genre is that it does not feature a clear main protagonist, despite initial impressions of leading characters. This has been implemented to allow each and every one of the characters to develop and expand at their own pace; the progression of the storyline is also unique in this respect as each of the characters has a significant part to play in the plot. There is no hierarchy within Lunar Wish: each character is considered integral to the overall storyline and gameplay experience. As a result, the game itself is rich in character development and is supplemented by surprising twists and unexpected methods of progression, which are guaranteed to take the player on their own journey of discovery as they play along with the characters. Comedic elements are also continually employed, to give the game its characteristic feel and tone through the character’s voices. While on the surface, Lunar Wish may seem like an innocuous, unexciting RPG, but in reality it does well to subvert the player’s expectations of the standard RPG template.
The gameplay schematic of Lunar Wish was designed to be as simple to understand and play as possible. This was done so that even players who are unfamiliar with the RPG genre could start playing immediately and allow themselves to immerse themselves in the world of Lunar Wish. There are no complex systems to learn and the learning curve is kept minimal as to allow as much of the game to shine through as possible. Skill Trees are used within the game to obtain new skills: this system allows the player to further expand their experience with the game as they progress and become more familiar with the game’s structure. As the characters learn new skills and become more adept in battle, as does the player. The simplistic yet effective system of each character focusing on a different element, tactic and strategy means that battling is always enjoyable without ever being overwhelming.
Lunar Wish is ideally suited to casual gamers, but the prime difficulty level means that there are always new challenges ready to surprise and test the player’s ability to think on their feet. Lunar Wish succeeds in bridging the gap between simplicity and difficulty which is a common problem amongst many games of this genre.
Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate has been in development for 5 long gruelling years and is truly a labour of love devoted to members of the RPG fanbase community. It has finally been completed as of 27th April 2013. Estimates would place the total game time at just over 12 hours, but take note that Orbs of Fate is just the first part of an epic duo of RPG games, the second of which will be coming very soon. I hope you enjoy playing Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate just as much as I enjoyed making and developing it. Happy playing!

considering it gives around 5 with each tablet i guess 5k-10k prolly considering that sometimes it's better to buy them then a little better weapon the way it is now

ah right was wondering but are you planning to make something that after defeating final boss would some optional dungeons would be unlocked or something along those lines?
Yup there is an optional dungeon. It has a difficult optional boss too, but it's only available at end game point.
In a sense, there are 2 final bosses - It's hard to explain really. You might even be a little surprised to find out what one of the final boss is :) (although considering the game has a direct sequel, nothing is really final in this game).
mhm so basically it's similar to Tales of Graces F there is something like optional dungeon and sequel thanks for answering

Haha! I'm not sure how much tablets should be worth to be honest! It might even be better to take them out at end game point.

This might actually be a good idea Sir Luster, I mean 1.4k mana for each tablet is not expensive enough for the current version upgrade of Lunar.

or

How bout raising the price to 10-20k AND having a limit on how many a character can use on a specific tablet - like after using power tablet 5x on Falk, a message like "Atk can no longer be increased" shows.

or

Raise the price and limit the number of tablet sold at Avale for 4-7 per tablet, then the shop closes down after purchasing all their available tablets.

What do you think Sir Luster?
I think the game is very good

I have found an annoyance I am in Arrowseye Village and I am doing the Little Girls Quests, on the Green Dog one I have found it, Tash has killed the owner then the game freezes.

I don't think it is supposed to do that !

ETA Downloaded v1.02 copied the save file over and it has now stopped freezing
@Kaze
I'm not sure about raising the price, because if find some tablets in chest, you'd be able to see=ll them for so much mana! I made it so that merchant only exists for a while and soon she will no longer be there at a certain point in the game.

@merchant42

Well, that's weird. I just tested that scene now and it froze just like you said 3 times. I tested it a 4th time and it didn't freeze and continued as normal. I tried another 5 times and it was okay. I have no idea what could of caused that, but if you could save before that scene and try a few times it should be fine.
Sorry about that :(

E: Oh never mind. Glad it started to work again XD
hmm right was wondering about those tablets and maybe you could just make something like second tablets better and much more expensive and they would change places with the weaker ones when it will be near end game that way the first ones won't be expensive if someone would want them to sale and the better ones would be only be able to get through this shop that way at least near end game ppl will have something to do with all gathered gold
I'm already at chapter 9, and I must say the game is totally amazing. Can't wait for part 2!

I need side quest help though..where do I get the key to the rih girl's house in Arrowseye Village? Tash says they like to hide keys everywhere but I can't seem to find it!

I also need help with the coke side quest. Right now, I have banana, apple, blueberry, and original coke. Can you help me to find where the other flavors are?

Lastly, I need help finding out where the Blood Pill is. I need to give it to this old lady in a house in Tyrone!
Thanks so much! And keep up the good work!
@igotrazo
Unfortunately, you won't be able to get the Elegant Charm until you are later in the game (The girl won't appear until later in the game). However, doing the elegant fan quest will get you the 5 Blue Eyeballs for the witch so that's half the items done.
The quest for the woman who has to cook chicken all day will give you the Blood Pill. Then doing the quest for the man in Vareni Place will give you another coke flavour (but this can only be accomplished later in the game as well).
The other coke flavour can be collected normally by just progressing through the game. It'll be in a dungeon.
Hope that helps!

I got to the part where the little girl is outside her house already, but it says I need to find a key! I tried interacting with everything and using the x-ray specs in all the houses but still no luck!
@igotrazo
There will be a boy with a pile of hay to the bottom left of Arrowseye. Destroy it with the Zippo.
I am stuck with this puzzle.

Somebody can help me please.
I'm already past the city will I be able to back track eventually?
@Liliford
Kaze provided a nice solution for that a few pages back so I'll quote him on this:
"press the arrow buttons on the upper left side of the map - that controls the movements of the bomb. and the switch detonates the bomb.

note: only detonate the bomb once you reached the grayish-silver button."

@Aurora
Yes, you will eventually be able to backtrack :)
Thanks a lot Lustermx i have finaly pass this puzzle.
Hmm.. so I actually fared better than most of the people playing Lunar Wish huh, I actually thought I was doing bad since my game time was more than 20 hours :P

Hahaha, I've been gone for a while cause my laptop broke down XD (it's also because of that, that I haven't been able to play 1.02 T_T), how's everything going Sir Luster?
Sorry to hear about your laptop!
Since you left, there have been no major bug reports so I think it's safe to say 1.02 is the final stable form of the game! So everyone downloading shan't worry about bugs :D
I suspect there have been people who have finished the game, but none of which have posted screenshots of their final stats! I really encourage people to do so even if they're not so good!

(And Yes, you're free to speak what you want even if it's bragging :P)
That's good to hear Sir Luster, I'll be playing ver 1.02 then XD. Oh! and could I also provide help/tips for other people? Thank you :)
I'd love for you to since I'm not always available to answer!
Also, if you really like the game... You could... Well, I dunno... Perhaps...
Nominate the game? :D
But only if it's like your favorite game on the site, that is!
Actually, I already nominated it a while back ago when I finished it on it's 1.00 version :P Ahahaha
