It must be nice having a slave to map for you :D
I want a map slave...
I find that Corfaisus is a little too afraid of using the path tile. It's more of a personal grievance, the layout of the map is good; it's very clear where you can, and where you cannot walk. He is a great mapper, I can‘t argue that. But to me personally, this map will always look incomplete.

No one really talks to me about my mapping, which bugs me because while "looks fantastic :D" is great and all for motivation, it's always left me working off of my own expectations which in turn leaves me without a quantitative level of completeness or satisfaction to compare it to. I desire more comments such as yours (critique) so that I can get a better understanding of how to use smaller details like paths so that they look realistic without being too straight/curvy and without feeling segmented or almost too direct (square-like for man-made paths). I've been using stone pathways almost like I use grass and dirt tiles, just with more direction without having to cut into the grass or dirt tiles.
I'd like to offer criticism, but I'm far too easily impressed when it comes to mapping using RM. When I see a map that looks visually appealing, I'm all over it and can rarely find something to really CRITISIZE about it.

You probably need one person to map, and then another to look them over and offer advice, etc. The Amazing Mapping Duo! Woo.
do the shops have actual interiors now?
