Back from vacation!

Spent the last few weeks away on vacation. Very relaxing. Back to work now though!

Might not be much new stuff being shown off for a while, though. Truth is, most of the things I want to include is already in the game, whether it was shown in the last demo or not. Of course, I'll show new maps and things as work progresses (currently working on Lyra's prologue scenario).

I probably won't be posting as much about balance changes like I usually do, at least not until the next demo nears. If I'm stuck on something, I'll be sure to pop in and get RMN's thoughts on it, though!

Back to work, back to work...

good to hear that you took time to recharge your batteries. don't work too hard though. don't want you blowing yourself out on this.
Good to see you're back, man. Looking forward to your next iteration.
Yeah I hadn't taken any time off from work in the past six months or so, definitely needed a little relaxation. Good to be home now though.
Indie game makers DON'T TAKE VACTIONS! They simply just sleep their problems off for a day and get back to it the next day.

But still, a mini-vacation, sometimes, is just what the good doctor ordered. I'm glad you got a little break. It looks like you've been working on this game for quite sometime now from what I've seen; so you deserve all the time off that you need. Relax! No pressure! Live a little. ^^
BALANCE CHANGES
* The Focus and Meditate command abilities now apply states instead of stat buffs. Focus will now increase the effectiveness of Black, White, Red and Summon magic by 20% for a few rounds, while Meditate will increase the effectiveness of Blitz abilities by 30% for a few rounds. Both Focus and Meditate will also remove any existing stat debuffs on Magic Power and Attack Power, respectively.

* ATB costs for using Focus and Meditate have been reverted back to original settings, costing 100% ATB rather than 25%.

* Charge time for using Jump has been slightly reduced.

* Charge time for using level 1 Black Magic spells (Fire, etc.) has been slightly reduced.

* In general, enemies will make smarter choices with their abilities in battle. For example, enemies will not cast Haste on an allied enemy already under the effects of Haste, etc.

NEW MATERIA
Magic Counter: Ensures a counterattack when attacked by White, Black, Red, Blue or Summon magic abilities. Magical abilities without a specific type are not affected.
Counter: Ensures a counterattack when attacked by physical abilities. Physical abilities that ignore evasion and defense are not affected.
NOTE: Counter and Magic Counter are also possible Weapon/Armor effects.

AESTHETIC CHANGES
* Abilities which can be toggled to affect multiple targets are now marked with an icon in menus.
* Bestiary entries now list the subject's dropped items, steal items, elemental and state resistance, immunity and weakness, obtainable Blue Magic spells, and the number of times it has been defeated.

ENEMY CHANGES
Unknown: Counters magical abilities with Mindblow. Mindblow removed from normal ability rotation.
Wyvern: Counters wind-elemental abilities with Snapping Bite.

Sounds very awesome! I'd like to see some new screenshots, if possible, Couillie.

I'm still working on the layout of it. Soon!
