400 years before the first Breath of Fire game, the druids existed. They were the ones who could transform into their spirit animals once they turn 18. One kid has learned his spirit animal is of the dragons. Go across a game spanning over 40 hours worth of gameplay, absorb genes from dragons to gain new powers. Level up your partners. Your spirit partner, Rob, is a Blue Mage and any special attacks enemies use on him he automatically learns. Currently in production.

It's a very big RTP for a very big game...the RTP is what makes the game big. Not the amount of maps and stuff you actually make in RPG Maker. I'd say the complete game with about 40 hours of gameplay will be about 150 MB max.

The VX RTP only takes up 20 MB, are you sure it's not the over abundance of mp3 files or the like?

Yeah...I do have a nice selection of graphics and songs that are not yet in use...but I plan on using them all. Also, what's not in use will be deleted in the final version to conserve space. You should still play the demo though, it really is a nice game you should try out.

Hey this game is great i mean its the best game on this site ide like to see a second one also im very impressed on the side view battle syteme howed you get the rgsscript to work i cant get mine to work and i noticed the legend of zelda twilight princess dessert music in there so can you post a tutoriol on how to do the side veiw battle thing. from DMAN

Boy, do I hope this game is totally awesome!!! Because the Breath Of Fire games where in my fave top 10 so if it is rubbish I will beso crushed! WQhen is the full game coming out?
I'm not sure if anyone else saw this bug, but if you have at least two party members, you can have Matt transform, then, when the next character has an action menu, press escape. Matt's turn will be up, and he will have the skills of his dragon form.
Works awesomely with the Eldritch gene, in the totally broken way. Talk to BugTest enough times, and it's instantaneous board wipe with Dragon's Breath!

I honestly gave it a try, but after seeing that BugTest guy it turned ridiculous. How am I supposed to take the game seriously if I can get to level 99 right there? The slime boss went down in one hit, the Eldritch one lasted 2 turns...
And after that, what? The slime says to go back but I did so and nothing happened. Wandering the huge forest maze fighting weak enemies with a level 99 party isn't that fun, so I stopped there.

@Dratio: I remember thinking that too, when I first played the game. I thought going back to Brandon would advance the plot. However, I found out that there's another party member somewhere in town that you talk to to advance the plot. I don't remember exactly where she is though, as I deleted the game after getting to the Dragon Colosseum.
Hopefully, this ambivalence about who to talk to, or at least reducing the town's size (it's a bit huge for how little is in it) will be altered when (or if) the next demo releases.

I fail to see how anyone can compare this to "awesome" based on three screenshots, in which only one actually shows gameplay.

Are you gonna finish I love the old school gene sytem from BoF3 but no solid dragon appearence more or less like dq which is a little diappointing if you arent gonna finish this I would love to but I would hope u would
