So I'm part composing the soundtrack for my visual novel, and I occasionally find myself listening to what I've done. Is this normal? I mean, they're nothing special, but I'm proud of them...

I read my own writing all the time. It's cool.
It even helps me get into the kick of things. Inspiration, yo.
Yes. I admire my work all the time, to a fault.

They told me I was mad when I said I was going to create a spidertable. Who’s laughing now!!!

Sounds good to me.

I personally have trouble re-experiencing stuff I've made a lot of time, because once the "YAY I MADE THING!!!" wears off it becomes "OH GOD I CAN SEE EVERY SINGLE FLAW!!!" and then I have to go curl up in the fetal position and roll around in agony as I realize that making something less than perfect has put me on the level of Cockroach Osama bin Laden and I deserve only opprobrium for my sinful ways.

I'm extremely neurotic is what I am saying.

So yeah, I think enjoying and being proud of your work is good.
I tend to be blind to my flaws. Yay for selective perception!
Welp. I feel better about it then, thanks XD

Only recently I had been playing my old games and even updating them five years later.

So yes it's normal!
