"the Godiva of Wingfield" - On a scale of "eh" to "I would literally sacrifice children to play this," how interesting is this title?

I like the word "Wingfield" a lot! I had to look up Godiva though - it makes sense, but IDK if maybe people will think of the chocolate first...
The way the title is set up though, it makes me think of nobility, a fancy mansion, and maybe a murder mystery? Like, I've never read Anne of Green Gables, but I get the impression this has a similar setting as that does.

They told me I was mad when I said I was going to create a spidertable. Who’s laughing now!!!

It is a murder mystery of a sort; Wingfield is the name of the city it takes place in.
There should totally be a "What do you think of my idea for my game's title" thread. :D I know I, for one, am never really sure how good my own titles sound.
As for the question, Sooz already knows I like the title a lot XD

If you make the title plural and change the name of the place. The Godivas of Windfeld for instance. The intrigue levels sky-rocket where before it was only "meh."
Makes it sound like a 19th century period-piece that promises an adventure with a rich family history with lots of drama between multiple characters and the hangups our main protagonist has to deal with regarding their dubious family history. And that's good stuff. Also the more natural-sounding place name makes it seem like a place and not two words put together.
It goes from "That looks neat." to "I want to play this and see what its about." At least for me.

re: "Godivas"- There's only the one. vOv
re: "Windfeld"- I'm not really sure why that's more natural-sounding than "Wingfield." My logic behind the name was thus:
"I want a fictional city that started in Colonial times.
"What are similar cities named? Ah, mostly after high-ranking doodz involved with settlement in the area. Let's check out some early high-ranking settlers who haven't been used.
"Ooh, this dude has a cool name and was around in Jamestown. Bingo!"

I don't think the title flows very well. Try saying it aloud. Godiva ends on an "uh" sound and of begins with one, so you have a glottal stop when saying "uh uh" and it sounds awkward. I agree though that Wingfield sounds good, but personally I'm never going to not think of the chocolate when I read Godiva.

I was afraid of that. Darn you modern culture and your ignorance about an obscure and probably exaggerated if not apocryphal tale about taxes!

Well, in all fairness, Godiva chocolates are on sale at the counter in a bunch of stores for chocaholic impulse buyers. I usually don't see naked ladies on horses for sale anywhere these days.
ETA:
Because that's a sobriquet, not her name, like "the Black Moses of Soul" or "the Mozart of Maths."

If there's only one Godiva, why can't it be Godiva of Wingfield? I dunno.

I think you have to go to a specialty dealer for that.
Apropos of probably nothing, I'm remembering how weird of a play Equus was.

So does your main character ride a horse naked only covered by her hair, or is she more about the taxes part of the tale?
Also I'd say I'm a 7 on the eh to children scale. Somewhere around 'fake a cold so I could stay home to play this' level.

The character in question is naked and (partly) covered by hair.
Looks like I'll be keeping this as a sobriquet in game and just using it as a working title until something more suitable pops out.
haha I'm probably never coming up with a better title I am the worst at titles
