I just played this "game" (if you really wanna call it that), and it is pretty good with an excellent atmosphere, and there were quite a few creepy moments and some down-right bone-chilling scenes. I agree with most things obsorber said about alternate plot lines but one thing that would have made the experience perfect would have been better character development.

NPC Saves game. Speak to a survivor and it gives you the option.
However it's likely you won't see your first NPC till about 20 minutes. By the way I'm curious at what stage or place you died at? What killed you off and how?
I tried to fight them but they killed me instead.

So far like the atmosphere and mapping, but I keep dying because of the fast enemies, and the lack of a saving results in me starting all over again, which is pretty annoying because of the slow walkspeed. So am I just missing a save point or what?

Don't mention it. And also, I just hacked into the game and saw you had done a big part of the game which was not given in the demo. Played through it all just for amusement- and for the most part saw no bugs, so I guess you could release a new version.
