Yeah, Japan tends to like the engine. They're actually from a special edition that was made a while ago. I figured you guys would like the pretties.

Dag nab. I like the idea that there is some mystical updated version of 2k3 out there though! The icons by themselves are pretty cool, but they don't make me think of 2k3. :-/ I was definitely confused when I saw a bunch of notices with those egg icons.

I don't see the point in updating the icons. We don't use the latest Japanese version, we use whatever was translated into English a decade ago. I'd rather that we stay consistent to what our userbase has access to and uses instead of a version that nobody here can get. Until there's a fundamental change in the rm2k3's English user's ability to use the latest 2k3 with their new icons (like an official release) I don't see a need to update icons that's is and will always be completely foreign to the users of said product.
