Luxaren Allure is COMPLETE! :DDDDDD

Oh yeah. I still have to play this.

Moving Forward (Feedback, plz)

Hrm. I don't recall how much damage Amalie was doing on a regular attack, or through her En Gaurde skill. I probably didn't use either, and was paying more attention to it's Stamina (and Aeyr's) to see if I could pull off a Dual Strike. I was able to land 8-10 damage per blow if I was doing it right!

Moving Forward (Feedback, plz)

Okay, finished the demo! I love the way this story is written, and I feel like I'm getting used to the game mechanics. Though, I find it somewhat concerning that the fight against Junsuina was very Aeyr-centric, with Amalie generally on support (kill that Miasma Charge!).

I'm not sure I like how enemies take a step back when you successfully retreat. Though, to be fair, the only alternative I can think of off the top of my head is to remove the enemies from the screen. Also, while I might understand why you don't have "Save" in the party menu, I'm kinda thinking "Load" needs to be there? I dunno.

Oh, hi guys! Sorry I forgot to make an intro topic when I first signed up.

I also never made an introduction topic. I joined 6 years ago, though, so it may be a little late to correct that.

Same, but replace "6" with "5".

Er, anyway, welcome to RMN! Share your creativity with us!

Faulty Fortune Cookies

My personal favorites are "What is in an empty box?" and "You never know what you can do until you try."

Let's work on your game descriptions!

author=GALER
The reason why I had all 5 letter capitalized was because they are the beginning initials of all my best friends in the game, and this campaign was role-played out in the world of GALER.

G- Graham
A- Alec
L- Luke
E- Eddie
R- Robert

That might be an interesting tidbit for your game description! A personal aside, if you will. Though, I would still suggest "Galer" for the main text, as it's technically more correct this way.

Let's work on your game descriptions!

To be honest, GALER, all I'm really noticing is that the synopsis section says "follow each character" while the gameplay section says "choose a party of four"? I dunno, it might come off as a tad confusing.

Though, as an aside, the name of the nation should probably be "Galer" rather than "GALER".

As an aside, this setup kinda sounds familiar. There was a game (I think it was Shining Force EXA for PS2?), that had two protagonists. While one was out and about (the adventuring party), the other stayed behind with the others to protect the castle from incoming attacks.

*Edit: Sorry if I wasn't much help!

I'm really impressed that you took the time to personally thank all the people who helped make this game. You'd be surprised how rare that is sometimes!
Yeah, no kidding. I need to do this from now on.

Ditto.

Moving Forward (Feedback, plz)

I recall finding myself using three (of my four) First Aid Kits on my first run. So, yeah, I was probably doing something wrong, somewhere!

...everyone will (hopefully ^^;;) eventually get around to playing everything they want to play...

I recall saying something like that...

Anyway, a few thoughts thus far:

I'm having a bit of trouble in the first dungeon. Fighting both encounters on the first screen is definitely a no-no! I figure if I fight just the second one, I may be able to make a small-ish profit. Though, I'm pretty sure if ducking in, fighting one thing, and ducking out is not the way this should be played. However, the damage these guys to do me is pretty high! I choose the Infantry starting equipment, accepted the First Aid Manual, and bought a Leather Overcoat and Plain Boots for Amalie.

Also of note, doing an F12 reset mid-battle causes some HUD elements to stay on screen. Like so.
