I now use XP and VXAce to make games. I usually play games that I would like to actually be in myself, and games that have fantasy settings. I'm open to all types of games. I compose music for my school band and orchestra, and I will probably compose music for my games. I prefer classical music over any other genre.

After considering it, I feel that I will stick with the battle system that I have. Thanks for showing me the tanketai script because I will most likely use it in a future game though.

Ok so I need some advice or something. In the game, you have to go around and collect 8 orbs, where 7 of the 8 can be collected in any order. I want to integrate these orbs more into the gameplay - more specifically in battle but can be outside as well. I was thinking that they can be used to summon monsters to help you in battle (I'd need to find a script for that I think XD), add some sort of field effect, or something along these lines. Any suggestions, especially from anyone who has played all of the demos so far?

I had like 5 different ship tilesets, and each one had something that another didn't have(one had enough room, one had windows, one had a steering wheel, etc.)...so I edited them together. Now I have a ship with windows haha. As for the vessel itself, It's going to be the location of several scenes pretty much (like the pic above.)

I can always change it; at this point I've only really been working on story and other non-battle things. I'm not a fan of the default one personally. I really want something like the Tanketai system for VX, but this is Ace and I'm not sure if there is a converted copy or something.

In fact, I just took a look at Yanfly's free turn system and it seems really interesting.

I accidentally made the event to enter the room action button instead of player touch. If that's not the problem let me know please. I fixed this problem, just not in the demo.

Even though I'm not posting pictures/frequent updates, I'm still working hard on the game. I can definitely see a final release in June if I keep it up. As for a demo, I'll probably post one more next month.

I'm about to post a second demo. I'll probably have it up by Sunday night. It includes everything from the first demo(fixed, hopefully!), and goes until you have an actual boat to ride around in. Once you can manually control the boat, you can still play, but there's nothing to do.

Since I'm busy this weekend, there might be a few towns in the game that are empty that you are told to go to. If I have time I'll try to populate these areas. If not, don't be surprised to walk into a ghost town.

Any glitches or problems will probably still be there...It's still in demo phase, so it's nowhere near final yet. I'm trying to fix everything I can before and after this demo releases. If you see something, just let me know and hopefully I'll get to it if I haven't already solved it.

And, of course, if there's anything you would like me to add/change, feel free to let me know! I can't do this alone!
