Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate is an indie role-playing game developed by LusterMX for the RPG fan community. It provides a unique experience unlike other RPGs in the community and has been made to provide the most complete and fulfilling downloadable gameplay experiences players can enjoy.
One of the elements which set Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate apart from other games of its genre is that it does not feature a clear main protagonist, despite initial impressions of leading characters. This has been implemented to allow each and every one of the characters to develop and expand at their own pace; the progression of the storyline is also unique in this respect as each of the characters has a significant part to play in the plot. There is no hierarchy within Lunar Wish: each character is considered integral to the overall storyline and gameplay experience. As a result, the game itself is rich in character development and is supplemented by surprising twists and unexpected methods of progression, which are guaranteed to take the player on their own journey of discovery as they play along with the characters. Comedic elements are also continually employed, to give the game its characteristic feel and tone through the character’s voices. While on the surface, Lunar Wish may seem like an innocuous, unexciting RPG, but in reality it does well to subvert the player’s expectations of the standard RPG template.
The gameplay schematic of Lunar Wish was designed to be as simple to understand and play as possible. This was done so that even players who are unfamiliar with the RPG genre could start playing immediately and allow themselves to immerse themselves in the world of Lunar Wish. There are no complex systems to learn and the learning curve is kept minimal as to allow as much of the game to shine through as possible. Skill Trees are used within the game to obtain new skills: this system allows the player to further expand their experience with the game as they progress and become more familiar with the game’s structure. As the characters learn new skills and become more adept in battle, as does the player. The simplistic yet effective system of each character focusing on a different element, tactic and strategy means that battling is always enjoyable without ever being overwhelming.
Lunar Wish is ideally suited to casual gamers, but the prime difficulty level means that there are always new challenges ready to surprise and test the player’s ability to think on their feet. Lunar Wish succeeds in bridging the gap between simplicity and difficulty which is a common problem amongst many games of this genre.
Lunar Wish: Orbs Of Fate has been in development for 5 long gruelling years and is truly a labour of love devoted to members of the RPG fanbase community. It has finally been completed as of 27th April 2013. Estimates would place the total game time at just over 12 hours, but take note that Orbs of Fate is just the first part of an epic duo of RPG games, the second of which will be coming very soon. I hope you enjoy playing Lunar Wish: Orbs of Fate just as much as I enjoyed making and developing it. Happy playing!

@Noel_Kreiss
You should be able to get past that part by pushing all the boulders up in the top and middle lane and then pushing the pillar in the bottom lane towards the switch. Hope that helps!

Thanks, helped.
That boss fight in the Mt. Lenele (probably misspellt that) was tough and Tash was pretty much useless (she died "oh-so-quickly" and I had problems with keeping the team alive, but thanks to Fate's Pharmacology trait I was able to finish the battle, which was actually won by...Saber). >.<
Hey, out of curiosity, what is piti supposed to mean, if anything? Mafia seems fond of calling people that.
Awesome game! guess I had much fun playing.

Waiting for the sequel XD.

oooh, and may I ask if Natasha and Nya are the only ones with overdrive in this sequel or am I gonna unlock the others through side quests? btw I already finished it, actually thought that it'll continue to serathium, was a bit surprised when the words "to be continued" showed XD

umm yeah you press the arrow buttons on the upper left side of the map - that controls the movements of the bomb. and the switch detonates the bomb.

note: only detonate the bomb once you reached the grayish-silver button.
does anyone know where you can find emerald shards? or what kind of mob drops it? thanks
anyone knows how to get to POW Academy?
Need Help Please trying to find how to get through where all the colour bunnies are I taken care of there enemies help please is there any sort of way to activate the switches help thanks
@Katrina38 For help with the bunny puzzle
Look at the coloured flowers. Going from left to right, hit the switches in that order. Hope that helps :)

KazeShini23
Emerald Shards can be found from the ice monsters in the cold part of Cronif Cave.
The Pow Academy is available to go to in the second part and it's located on another island (Konzyez) so you currently cannot go there. Overdrives for now are limited to only Tash and Nya for now in this part, but it will later extend to everyone in the second. The first part however, has a few equipment and items which you can get now, but cannot get later. For example, everyone has a special equipment (the more you find, the higher your percentage based completion) - some are easy to find, some are harder. I'm glad you managed to complete it so I'm looking forward to releasing the sequel (probably in a few years.. haha).

ooooh, so that's why! ahahaha I've been running around looking everywhere for any clue as to how to get to POW academy since at the teleporting stations there was a crystal specifically for POW so I thought I can venture it. XD

Thanks for the answers, and if not too much may I also ask if I can gather all the 20 purple thingies, cause so far I only managed to get 18. Hmm, are the remaining 2 that I haven't found yet on the 2nd installation of your game? or did I miss it when applon became a ghost town - cause since then almost all of the buildings in applon got locked, and I don't remember if I already used the x-ray specs inside those buildings.

oh and talking about special equipments so far I have:

-Cindy's coke cloak (yup found all the coke and have found the awesome fountain of coke, hahaha XD)
-Arc's great one
-Nya's draco plate
-Venna's Earl Gray
-Falk's Rainbower
and
-Kestrel's Woowee

haven't finished all the side quests yet(the purplish shiny thingies.) any tips for me? XD >>>> side note I finished "The Code Dream" side quest but still shows in the quest log as unfinished and in red font color

ah, also bout Falk's powerade bug, when you level it past lvl 2 it "magically" turns to Earth Strike lvl 6 - which is kinda too strong early level. I only found out recently :P

Again awesome game, I'll be patiently waiting for the next installment even if it takes years. Great job with the game!

P.S. (I actually played the 1st version, so it was heck hard to manage money since the mobs dropped very little amount but still manage to finish it!! XD
I'll be playing ver. 1.01 later :P)

ahhh one more thing by the way, I forgot to ask what the soulstones are for, I can't npc them nor can I use them. I have 8 so far. Many thanks!

oh! and an added item: -Kross' essence shield
:D :D
Amazing! I'm actually really happy you liked my game so much as to do the side quests!
The Soulstones are used for getting another ultimate item. If you go to the graveyard towards the north of Tyrone City and visit one of the graves, you'll be able to acquire one of them. They can be quite obscure, so apologies for that! (you need 10 soulstones)
All 20 purplish things can be gotten in the first part and none are in the locked houses in Applon Village so don't worry about that. It can be quite hard, I agree so perhaps one day I'll have to write a walkthrough on their locations but 17 -- that's really good!
1.00 is defo much harder than 1.01 so hats off goes to you! I'm currently working on a 1.02 version though, so before playing the new version, I'd wait a little bit for 1.02. It will have fixed Falk's Powerade bug (can't believe I didn't notice that >.<) and have a few other changes too.
Lastly, I'd like to say, you climbed Mt.Gelado... AND GOT TO THE COKE FOUNTAIN. YOU SIR, ARE AMAZING!

Yup! your game easily became one of my favorites with the unique gameplay and that some if not all side quests are related to one another to finish the other. XD really really great game! ^o^

Also, I'm really sorry for interrupting you, asking questions and tips about the game while you are currently working on the 1.02 version of Lunar.

update on my part: I still have 8 soulstones - I will once again raze all the dungeons to hunt them spirits and try to find the last 2. I actually found all them purple thingies - seems like I missed one at the tyrone prison since it was at the very left side of the jail area, and missed the other one at applon academy, once again a bit hidden on the left side.(the one where the academy head gave cindy's uniform(coke cloak pre-req)) thus giving me Natasha's Parallel armor.

Guess all that's left are the special equipments for Fate, Saber and Myst. One special armor should be given after the soulstone hunt, the other would be on the shady guy asking for heart, clover, diamond and spade amulets as well as 15 ultramarine and yaleblue chunks(which I am currently hunting). So does that mean one of the characters won't have their special equipment?
found another bug: Kross being unable to equip accessories

Lastly the Coke Dream bug I mentioned earlier:

And ultramarine chunks are dropped by mobs from Mt. Gelado right?
ooooh! and another question! :) is the total number of sidequests in this first installment 13 or did I miss any? XD

More power to you sir Lustermx!!
@Kaze
You know, I really don't mind about the questions! Feel free to ask and I'll always be happy to answer :)
Thank you so much for the bug reports! I'll have them all fixed in the newer version coming soon.
The total number of side quests is 13 so yup. You've got them all :D! You're also right about ultramarine chunks being dropped by mobs in Mt.Gelado.

About the special equipment
All characters should be able to get them, but the last one is a different story.
Remember these people?

You have to talk to each one of them in each town and then talk to the old man at the top of Mt.Gelado. There's a catch though; there's one of these people at Tag's Fort who only appears before the fort goes into ruins. If you have talked to the person at Tag's Fort, then getting the last ultimate equipment should be easy.

Thanks for answering all the questions nonetheless ^_^

Uh-oh I'm worried about the one about before Tag's fortress' collapse o.O, anywho- currently I'm still hunting/levelling characters at Mt. Gelado for them ultramarine pieces, and it looks like these babies are very rare drops.

Ah! and yeah I got all 10 soulstones and got Saber's Pure call spear XD

I'll be posting again about my progress :)!
Ahahaha got nervous for a second there XD

With that Myst has acquired Featherkin :D

Last one should be Fate's, all I need are last 10 pieces of ultra marine and it should be done!! XD Thanks for all the help sir Luster I'll post one last picture with all the characters in it XD, oh and did ya know my gaming time passed 20 hrs? ahahaha ^_^

COOL COOKIES!!!
Well, it would seem that you're nearing the end of the game (with a spectacular 100% by the looks of it). You playing has actually been massive inspiration for the next part so thank you so much for that! I'm going to make The Rebellion extra good now... I... I shall not let you down :)
And 20 hours? I'm really surprised at how much you seem to be liking my game XD. It brings a tear to my eye :')
PS. Sorry about Fate's ultimate being a pain.
