I'm using VX.
I needed a dead body sprite.I made one in MS Paint from a RTP one(People5), and I added it into the folder. However, when I place the graphic, the background around the body is green.I can't seem to fix that, no matter what I do.How do I fix that?
Thanks in advance!

Did you set the transparencies to that color? It opens a window allowing you to change the transparent color when you import it.

I never "imported it" i just put it in the folder. Thanks!
Now I have the problem when I add it into the game and click on a character, it only picks up 1/8 of him :(

then you need either $ or ! in the front of the name. I can't remember which.

Put the sprite with another RTP charset. (Just export one and paste your character sprite over one of the characters.)

OR, put a $ or ! in front of it, like Ronove said. Doing so tells the engine not to seperate it into 1/8ths, allowing you to just import one instead of a whole set.

You do need to import things, as otherwise the engine will assume you did not want to remove the transparencie. (It takes like 5 seconds to import, y'know...)

I don't think using the Import function is necessary if the transparencies are set before-hand. MSPaint doesn't handle transparencies, so use GIMP instead that's an issue. Also, there might be a visible outline for graphics imported this way.
