Which one do you use? If you use a different one to microsoft or apple what is it?
I use microsoft. My home computer and home laptop are microsoft. At work my computer is a Lennox but i have been thinking of moving over to microsoft.

My desktop is a Gateway with Windows XP on it. At work, I use a Dell with Windows XP on it. I'm in charge of a computer lab that has all Macs. I can't use Character Maker on a Mac so I automatically don't like it. Or maybe I can, but these computers are public computers so they can't install or run many exes.
Ive never used an Apple computer in my life, fucken haven't even seen one turned on haha. So Micro$oft, the evil mega corporation trying to ruin gaming, as Sony people would say.
I have used Apple based computers back in school and i hated them. while my experience with Windows hasn't been perfect overall, but XP Pro has been great to me. Lesson: Microsoft is powerful(evil?) and big for a reason.
Microsoft. Apple products are too expensive. They don't even need to be the price they are.
That being said, Apple products are pretty high quality, much higher than your average PC computer. The "myth" though that Apple is more secure is a complete lie though. There just aren't as many things to worry about. And yeah, Windows XP rocks.
On a side note though, I will be getting the new 3G iPhone!

Zeroeth PC (Macintosh 100): Fuck knows what MacOS
First PC (Macintosh LC): MacOSs 6 - 9
Second PC (Macintosh G4): MacOSs 9 - X
Third PC (Celeron): Windows ME
Fourth PC (AMD 2700+): Windows XP
Firth PC (AMD 5000+ X2): Vista 32 Bit
I think when I buy my PS3 I will probably append it to this list because it's practically a PC.

XP pro is a fantastic operating system.
I would have to agree with that. I have XP pro at my work computer and it seems to work more better than XP home edition which i have on my computer and laptop at home. I am thinking of switching over.
XP Pro is a pretty slick OS - too bad they couldn't carry that forward with Vista.
(Side question: Do you pronounce it 'Viss-ta' or 'Vees-ta'? I say Viss-ta, but my manager insists it's Vees-ta)
Anywho, Win XP is okay, but Office is a pain in the ass to use. So is Internet Explorer. The problem with the monolithic corporation that Microsoft has become is that is has difficulty innovating. As such, to make up for their lack of innovation, they tend to use their weight to buy other corporations.
Open source is the future, because that's where the ideas are. Big companies take years to copy them.
My other OS is Suse Linux.

I have Windows XP, but I'll probably be getting a Mac of some sort this summer. Not so much because I want it, but because I need it for the college program I'm in.
Both.
I've got WinXP Home on my PC and school-issued laptop, and I use OSX on my Apple. I usually just use it for music, though, like writing. And some school assignments. Plus, I was planning on getting into film when we got it, but then found out that our camera wasn't compatible with the program I usually use (Final Cut). I still have massive pwnage with it, though. All hail Limewire for Mac.
The only reason people say Mac is "more secure" is because people don't write as many viruses and worms and stuff for them, whereas there's a bazillion written for Windows systems. At least, iirc.

It seems the other way around to me man. The most popular open-source applications out there are blatant copies of commercial products (most of which are produced by Microsoft). Linux GUIs apes Windows, GIMP apes Photoshop, OpenOffice apes MS Office so much that I can't believe there is no cease-and-desist order, and Firefox apes Internet Explorer. As far as I see it, open-source applications try to offer, for free, the same ideas that commercial applications explore. Open-source copies tend to iterate on minor features more quickly, but I'd say that those are hardly big ideas.
PS: Windows XP.
