I think that you (JParker) have the right idea but creating/devoting a topic entirely to your appreciation of Max is a little strange. I'm sure you meant well but this is probably perceived as awkward by him, maybe a PM would be better next time :>

Seriously...this...is a very good point. I'm sure that dl spent a lot more time testing your game than I did so...yeah...this is an excellent point.

JParker, just to keep things in perspective: my feedback, while there was a lot of it, was really just based on the first ten or so minutes of your game. I'll gladly play more when I get a chance/thave theime but...idk...just be sure and take it with a grain of salt and keep things in perspective. If your game is, say, 5 hours long, then my feedback is only 1/30th as accurate or useful as that of someone who played the whole entire thing. I made it awkward by involving math-based analogies, but hopefully you know what I mean.

Anyway, um, thank you. Plenty of people around here will tell you that I'm really not that great (and some of them would put it a bit more strongly) and a PM probably would have sufficed for this, but nonetheless I'm flattered. And I'm glad that my criticism didn't mess up your motivation.

But yeah, my lack of response thus far wasn't due to awkward silence or anything; I just didn't see this topic. I've been trying to go on RMN less.

I have a decent number of fans, actually, I always have over the years, even if there's only two or three really active or vocal on RMN at a time. I've just tried to refrain from mentioning that fact in recent years because I've been told not to bring it up it's usually irrelevant/nobody cares but...since you directly and specifically brought it up...yeah.

That level of sarcasm doesn't really seem necessary, you know. I didn't say that I was being censored, nor do I believe that I am "famous". Sometimes I feel like you respond specifically to things I'm not even saying. I don't know if that's because you're intentionally twisting my words or because you just have these kneejerk emotional responses whenever I post something; I know I've certainly been guilty of the latter at times.

My actions in this thread so far:

* Mentioning that JParker1984 should be equally/proportionally appreciative of all of the feedback he receives, not just mine.
* Mentioning that a PM probably would have sufficed rather than making a public thread.
* Saying "thank you".
* Explaining why I had not posted here thus far.
* Casually mentioning that I in fact had more than one fan.
* Politely requesting that you rely less on sarcasm while clarifying the previous statement.

Which part of this exactly is "completely and categorically wrong in every way"? Oh wait, you "don't even need to start to explain why".

Yes, I know you were quoting me and that now I'm quoting you quoting me and that's incredibly recursive. But what I don't know is why you were arbitrarily quoting me rather than actually responding to what I had actually said just now.
