CloseSo just reading various topics it seems most people are in school that come here. So what does everyone do, as in for work, school, etc.
I work at an auto-repair shop (glamorous!) But I mostly have done construction work since I was 16.

Alrighty then. I travel the country in various beat up cars to sell various knives and swords to retailers that order them, normally custom orders more then not. I have done mostly retail work since I was 12.
I also happen to teach self defense down at the local defense arts school, with permission from the owner there naturally. Apparently the methods I teach are widely criticized for more then one reason, mostly because I don't teach how to avoid a unfavorable situation, but only how to react, preferably armed. Seeing as he gets a cut in from the knives I sell in those classes as well, it is tolerated.
I used to help out at a factory for the father of my friend, but after two months and a debate broke out, I stopped helping them.
Now I think about it, this makes me sound like a con man...;( Oh well.

Emm... facesforce, your life sounds cool. Well, yes I am in school, like to be there, not so much because of the friends and definitive not to study, I just like to be there and do nothing, yes I know it's weird, don't know why, maybe because I know I am going to miss that when I let school and have to actually do something of my life that pretty scare me a lot. Not interested in university. I am practicing piano everyday and learning java. so... that's its of my life.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

facesforce I envy your lifestyle as a nomadic purveyor of edged weapons; I never saw it before now, but that was my true calling.
Anyway, I am actually technically a(n RPG) writer by vocation after years and years and years of being one by avocation. I write for the #3 or #4 tabletop RPG in the world, depending on who you ask. Not as big as D&D oralso D&D Pathfinder, and probably not as big as White Wolf, but almost certainly bigger than everything else although it's all very subjective.
That is where literally all of my meager income comes from at the moment (good thing I have a rich girlfriend, or I'd probably beliving dying in a gutter). It has been a dream job for me since age 10. I still procrastinate sometimes instead of actually doing it.

I am in the US Navy. The military isn't for everyone (and is unlike what a lot of people may think about it), but it's been a blast for me. It's not easy, but it's cool as fuck.

...anyway, I'm in college. I work doing the school year as a preceptor for freshmen, and during the summer I work at an outdoors summer camp. The goal is to eventually be a writer or game dev, but likely I'll wind up doing teaching jobs until my hobbies finally take off as full-time endeavors.
Basically, I get paid to have fun... the seminars I'm a preceptor for are about Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the Coen brothers, and during the summer I play games in the woods all day.
Most of my free time is spent wishing that I had a time turner so that I could major in Economics, Psychology, Marketing... like, I want to do ALL the things. At least I started learning Mandarin this semester!
What I really need is a rich boyfriend/husband so that I can live of off that while I go change the world.

I know, people are often shocked that I have such a mundane day job
Recent college grad applying for Med School and Grad School depending on how I do on these tests. Aside from that I started a small production company a few months ago focusing on merchandise and apparel with the end target of video game production, have something big in the works, I guess RPGmaker can be viewed as practice for story telling.
