I am thinking about trying to appease the masses by somehow quantifying a game's "buzz" on RMN.

I hate when people say that games today aren't good. They're just as good as they've always been. Just different.
Granted, I play like one game a year, but still.

I think it's really the mainstream games that have faltered. There are modern gems like from niche developers such as platinum games. But it's harder these days to trust what's "hot" when its some dumb angry birds game or w/e. It isn't just about rampant nostalgia.

Well then take that into account.
I wished Max, Feld, UPRC(?),Pokemaniac, and others, though for some of them they're not completely gone, would do the same thing!
