WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT RIGHT NOW?
Posts
author=Link_2112It was Nightowl posting a picture of a mouse getting blended. I think that was just the final straw, though, considering his history up to that point...author=kentonaDidn't you ban someone for a mouse blender avatar? Or did they post it as a pic?
The only real rule is "gotta be tasteful" ie- no gore or nudity or nude gore. I think I only ever banned one user for their avatar - some dumb chick who kept changing it to naked pictures of herself. She accused me of being an uptight censorist or somesuch.
E: here it is (the topic not the avatar) http://rpgmaker.net/forums/topics/11046/
My friend and I saw these Persona 4 figures at a store for twice the price they are on Amazon. We spent a solid half hour debating whether to buy these at their full price too - which is weird because I used to think that people who bought anime figures and the like were a bit creepy. Guess I've grown up since then. ...in a way

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

I thought Mr_Detective was banned for his underage girl avatars? I guess it was for a different reason then.
Was he actually banned? His 'your banne' avatar doesn't look like the usual...

There's like three different 'your banne' avatars, isn't there? Does one get randomly picked every time someone is banned?
He might not actually be banned. I was there around the time when his avatar changed to a "ur banne" avatar, and he's been through about 2-3 of them actually. Would a mod or something like to clarify?
I'm thinking about "Remaster rm2k3's music!" being a cool contest
Participants would be able to submit multiple entries, by the end of the event we'd have plenty of beautiful remastered music for us nostalgia junkies to use in our games ;_;
meanwhile i'm attempting to HD rm2k3's rtp
success probability: 10%

@JosephSeraph Then someone can make an old-school style game with rm2k3 HD RTP and remastered music. My mouth is drooooling right now at that possibility.
That actually would be pretty awesome. I don't like 2k3's music as much as XP's, but there are a few tracks that I'm pretty fond of. Though, given the rate that I'm working on Oddysea Dungeon's music, the contest would have to be held for a minimum of 3 years for me to actually finish and submit something...
author=kentonafuck do I hate stupid code.fromValue = from != null && from.equals("searchResults") ? from : "";
lmao
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Some people will do anything to get their code to fit on fewer lines.
What the hell kind of variable names are "from" and "fromValue" anyway? You might as well name them "lolz" and "wtfbbq". I'm assuming this is website code, not game code? If it were from an RPG Maker script there wouldn't be a semicolon at the end.

it's java, and it's basically saying "set fromValue to from, but only if from is "searchResults"
...which is pretty retarded. It's not very readable at all, and what's the point? Also this piece of code discarded a new kind of "from" value I was trying to propagate across the webcode, because of it's assbackwards logic. took me 30mins to find out where my from value was getting lost.
This site needs a rewrite dearly. it's fucking formatting with TABLES AND COLSPANS

// K. Anderson - there is a LOT of logic built into this line... basically we want it to be searchResults or blank. All other "from"s would be discarded. No. Bad.

The lack of parentheses makes it even more confusing. I couldn't honestly tell you if w && x ? y : z means (w) && (x ? y : z) or (w && x) ? y : z. You seem to be assuming it means the second one, which... could be correct? It makes more sense that that's probably what the coder meant, anyway.
