The Wii U gamepad doesn't work on the Wii menu mode of the Wii U.... for reasons unexplained (cmon nintendo seriously get off your duff and make it possible).
I see. Well the classic controller is the best one anyways. The one that's designed like SNES not Ps2.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Also, its like, almost 2-year-old "news" by now, but apparently the next "doomsday prophecy" is Nibiru coming back in 2016 to kill us all with Biblical style! So, look forward to that, guys.

Man, these doomsdays are getting really low budget. She was contacted by aliens only twenty years ago? They didn't have any better advance warning than that? Those are some pretty worthless aliens.

I liked the Mayan one a lot better. Much more mysterious. Nibiru is like what happens when a B-movie producer can't get the rights to anything that he actually wants to make and settles for a script written by his cousin. Though I guess it's still better than, like, Y2K.

Nibiru reminds me of Nabisco.

The end will come in the form of crunchy, delicious, low-calorie treats.

Well, to be fair, Nintendo is quite clear that the games are on the Wii menu, not the Wii U one.
Heh, yeah I just hadn't realized it required another type of controller.

Yeah, now I just sit here and hope I ordered the right one.

Right-wing American politics, you done it again.
but if the people are united with their needs met, it makes them that much harder to control!
Wasn't there some big quote or saying, something about not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country or something? Eh, probably some commu-pinko-facist-supersocialists-weedlord-boner like Rommel.

I know if it was the 60's but with the Internet and shitty macros Kennedy'd be right there in place of Clinton

I think the moral of that pic is supposed to actually be that Hitler was mostly a pretty decent guy, when he wasn't hung up on the whole genocidal racism and world domination stuff. I mean you can't let a few things like that define his whole character. Sure he ordered millions of people tortured to death and bombed civilians, but he also was a vegetarian and an aspiring artist and had a neat mustache and liked cats. Who's to say which of those things is more important?

Godwin's Law is alive and well. There's no need to compare the modern government to Nazism when they're their own brand of thuggery, like any government throughout history. Russia under Stalin killed more than twice the number the Nazi's did and were just much a police state, but even the briefest historical analysis shows that the difference between Soviet Russia and Nazi Germany were night and day, so will future see in its comparison of the U. S. to other governments whose similarities can only be found on the surface.

@GRS Kennedy's statement is more relevant now than ever. One could argue that open dissent against injustice is the single greatest thing one could do for one's country.

@LockeZ I've always thought Hitler was a prime example of a leader who lost control of a propaganda machine that he created and had no choice but to ride it all the way. I don't think anyone, even Hitler, sets upon a course with the intent to slaughter millions, but once it began, there was no way to reverse course.

One time I got forced into a date with someone I had no interest in that was set up by a friend, so I bought a shirt that said "What about all the good things Hitler did?" to make sure it wouldn't turn into a second date. The shirt had a photo of Hitler with triumphant angry fist raised high, and a bouquet of flowers photoshopped into his clenched fist.

I could have just not shown up and told her not to contact me again, but then I'd just look like an asshole. This way I looked like an asshole AND got revenge against my stupid friend. It made him look as bad as me, since he set this poor girl up on a date with a guy who is apparently pro-Hitler! Worth it.

Also we went to a NASCAR event, which I'm sure made that the worst date of her life. I didn't pick the location though. Even I'm not THAT sadistic.

Wait, she actually went along with going somewhere with you in public when you were wearing that shirt? XD

The fact that she stuck around was actually super awkward. Maybe she really liked NASCAR.

I actually worked with a guy who was pro-Hitler. I would listen to him go on about how Hitler was a misunderstood visionary. Well, one day, I chose to respectfully disagree with him, but any man who creates an empire that slaughters millions, intentional or not, can be said to have rather poor vision. Big mistake, followed by months lectures at least twice a week.

Oh man. I mean JUST SO WE'RE CLEAR my above comments were sarcasm and my shirt was being worn ironically. Plus, wow. I mean to be honest if even I were pro-Hitler I don't think I'd go around talking about it all the time. How does that even come up in the context of a normal work conversation? "Pianotm, see if you can find those reports, so you don't accidentally slaughter millions of Jews." "Dude I don't think that's how it happened." "Oh what? Yeah totally, he was just a misunderstood visionary, he was just asking for basic stuff like tax paperwork one day and got sort of angry about it, and his officers took his annoyed grumblings out of context and started putting all the inferior races in gas chambers."
lol I geddit. "death and taxes"! ha!
I feel like this is the discussion the writers of Star Trek TOS had right before they wrote the Nazi planet episode. Except we need more drugs. Wa~ay more drugs.
Hey, Hitler did do some good things in his time as Supreme Dicktator of Germany. For one, he created some very strict laws about animal abuse and those who broke them were very heavily punished. That's one thing I can get behind... you know, if he weren't a bit of a hypocrite and ass.

...he shoulda stuck with being an artist. His paintings weren't that bad.
