HOW DO YOU GET OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING?

Basic topic, do you find it hard getting out of bed in the morning? How do you manage?

Me, I find it hard to get up when there is no motivation involved, like on school days. If there is something I am doing very early in the morning, I find I can easily get out of bed.

My technique for getting up is basically just realizing I can just jump out of bed, and then doing just that.
I don't.

Not while I'm unemployed that is.

If I, from time to time, have a job in the morning, I have no problem whatsoever to get up. I just do it.
It's pretty hard if you have nothing concrete to do. What helps me is getting up and getting a drink of water.

If I'm not still drunk I just kinda roll out of bed. I'm used to waking up at 8 everyday by now.
When my alarm goes off (which is across the room) my instinct is to get up and run across the room and turn it off. I then proceed to run back into my bed and lay down and then sit up. It all happens in a moment.

Then I sit in my bed a moment wondering why my alarm didn't go off.

(note: this is all hypothetical, but is my guess as every morning I wake up on time but my alarm is turned off)
Easy for me, once i'm up, i'm up, i'm ready to go about my day, I know if I lay there i'm not gonna fall back asleep so why waste time? Unless its really cold outside and my bed is really warm.

That's the thing; it's like every time I wake up, I could easily go back to sleep if I wanted, no matter how much sleep I got the night beforehand. It makes things very complicated sometimes.
I wake up early (6~7 ish) but then feel tired at 10ish. I need a nap.

I get up easily at 5:00. I just... get up.

Now, waking up most guys is a pain in the butt but not me!

I'm also really good at faking sleep so some people think that I get a lot more sleep than I really do....

EDIT: I mean REALLY good. I have heard so much stuff while pretending to sleep it isn't funny
Usually I let out a loud groan because I am really unhappy that I have to start another day. I like my life and the things I have to do over the course of the day but I haven't had a full night's sleep since 2006 and it's really starting to wear me down. I will often fall asleep again without knowing it and show up late for work.

The method is pretty straightforward. It is easy for me to get up once I have decided to even though I am extremely tired. I then have a glass of water with two teaspoons of vinegar in it (keeps the tubes clean), shower, and eat breakfast in the car on the way to work.

On weekends I often don't get out of bed until 5 or 6 in the afternoon on account of having gone out to the bar and had one too many $3.75 liter long island iced teas (man college towns).

I set my alarm clock to one time, I get up a while later after I finally decide to stop pressing the snooze button. The amount of sleep, when I sleep, and when I wake up varies greatly depending on the day, sometimes I'm home from work at 1 AM, sometimes I have the whole day off, sometimes I have to be up at 9 AM, sometimes it doesn't matter when. For example, I had been up until 5 AM working on a take home midterm that was due at noon the next day, so I had to be up at 9 AM. Not fun! If it's for work, I generally won't delay much in getting up, and I'll just force myself up. If it's school, I'll not be as tempted to get up. If it's raining and/or cold, I'll want to sleep even more.

After that I get up, go post on forums, check up on my favorite sites, take a shower, run off and get something to eat on the way to school/work, and that's mainly it.
My sleep cycle is fucked up, so it's not very hard. I am pretty much nocturnal, so when I would normally be "getting out of bed", I've been up for 6 or more hours already and have no problem going to class and stuff.

When I do get out of bed, it's usually around 10pm-2am, depending on my roommates (I try to avoid them as much as possible).

Well I pretty much either work or teach every day of the week, so I have a robot-like sleep cycle that barely ever requires an alarm clock anymore.

Biological alarm clock ftw
I never need an alarm and am usually up around 6 to 7. I have also been less tired in the morning as of late.
I used to have a hard time getting up, but dorm life changed all that. Having to sleep on a bunkbed with your alarm clock across the room makes it hard to bang that snooze button >.<
Well i usually get up at 5 oclock most mornings to go to work. I generally come on here for about an hour to post, then on my way to work i always get a coffee and then i'm ususally at work right on time. So i really have no time to be lazy when i get out of bed.
