CloseI was wondering if anyone knew of an RPG maker game where there is romance between the main characters like in the aveyond series?

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Games where the main characters have romantic cut scenes and fall in love over the course of the game? Yeah I'm going to say... probably there are hundreds?
Or do you mean some kind of Bioware type relationship system where you can give people gifts and choose things in conversations and choose who you have a romance with? We have a couple dating sims actually, I'm not sure I can name an RPG on the site with this kind of romance system but that's probably just because I haven't played it. I'd be surprised if there weren't any.

either would do although I seem not to be able to find any which are complete I played love and war but it's not finished really. I tried romancing saga but it's not on here for some reason?
Ah? easy to find though. There's also RE-Alistair++, but it's more of a visual novel. Wasn't there romance in Arhiman's Prophecy? A lovely rpg, not here either but also easy to find.

yes although I counted that as part of the aveyond series as it is the prequel so already played it lol. As for visual novels I don’t really like them much too much reading and not enough action.

Romancing SaGa doesn't actually have romance in it. It's just the name of the game, using "romance" in the classical sense of "a novel or other prose narrative depicting heroic or marvelous deeds" (copied from dictionary.com).
"I want romance" is a broad request.
What level of romance are you looking for? Are you after the flowery chivalrous guy, forlorn princess stuff? A more realistic relationship where the bond develops through working together? Do you want the relationship to be the focal point of the game, or just side char-development?
Or is one scene in a 40-hour epic good enough (eg. The Ary scene in Tales of Phantasia)?

I didn't think it was such a broad term I have not played many RPG maker games. Only really got into them over the summer I guess I wanted one a more in depth character build up but I am happy for the romance to be on the side of a good game it doesn't need to be the games main focus as it would ruin the plot. As for realistic relationship can you get that in a game? If you take the Aveyond series which is the only real game I have played that has romance in. I would say it’s sweet innocent romance I wouldn’t call it realistic though as it is set in the backdrop of a fantasy world but that is kind of the point isn’t it? I guess if I could choose I would like a romance that had more grown up feel and more complex points to it rather than the simple sweet one of Aveyond. Although it was very cute :)

It's not that bad a game. Another few games you can try are Clouded Heart, Three the Hard Way, Maranda, Ara Fell and Aura.

Erm...it's not sexist, really...but there is love in the air. Think Riviera: The Promised Land. It's pretty much similar in terms of story concept.
And it is an English game translated from Japanese. Romacing Walker, if I must say, is one of the best RPG Maker games I've played, simply because of the humor :)
Why won't games made with RPG 2000 not work? Just download the RPG Maker 2000 RTP, install, and you're ready to go...

ok perhaps I should say I didn't really want any thing sexual in the game because the whole human sexing up an elf thiny just sounds weird. I just wanted a cool game that had some sort of romance in to make it more interesting is all.
