This is probably going to only happen once, and it will hopefully get my newer game going. I bet only some of you know of my game, JailBreakOut: Kingdom of Jade...well, of you don't, then here are 2 videos about it:

Well, my problem is:Everything. I realized that as one or 2 things get better for me, everything else goes to shit for me. First of all, the music: I can't do it right. I have gotten better with the program I use for MIDIs, but as usual, I need to learn the program...and music in general, and that will take too long for the release date, which I was hoping to be sometime this year.
Then, while my mapping and story making have gotten better, some of my eventing...has gotten worse, if you look through my second video, it'll point out some of my eventing mistakes and glitches. One for example, is a glitchy sprite when the screen is suppose to get darker when inside the cave, the character just spazzes out for a nano second...IDK WHY!
Then...I want the game to seem professional, though it does include ALOT of RTP. So, I would like voice acting...the problem there is...the program I use to make it, has too much background sound. It's difficult to get the unnatural fuzziness out of the sound...
The jokes, though not all games are suppose to have jokes, especially this one meaning to have drama being it's main point, I feel it's not meant to be a dramatic game, but a comedy, as it will show 3 things, Mario and Sonic, and my sad life, plus a few on the way through the journey moments, like when Julie and Samuel begin fighting, and Julie pulls the Bugs Bunny switcharoo on Samuel. When they meet Julie's fake mother, it's meant to be all sad and depressing...then Samuel pulls a groaner of a joke...you probably couldn't even call it THAT! It ruins the whole scene.
Mapping, as I've said, in my eyes, has gotten WAY better, and my music...yeah...but, I still don't want this project to fail. I already took away my idea for the 4 towers, because when Julie leaves the group, Samuel can only fit 3 more people into his group, which are going to be me, Mario, and Sonic.
Each place, has to have it's own looks, and originality. Jade is supposed to be a world that can't decide what it is, a world of small buildings compared to the people, or a normal place under attack by it's own king.

I can say that I'm doing well with the game, but these things listed are my reasons for needing a production team for this. So...can I get some volunteers?

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news or to discourage anyone from helping you, but you haven't exactly sold me on this project. I don't know how you intend to have a dramatic storyline when you are including characters like Mario and Sonic. I do not like what you have done so far and it feels significantly 'First Project' like.

I can however offer you some good advice regarding your personal development and how well you can use the software; just use it. You don't need anyone to do any of those jobs, short of maybe voice acting. Just do it yourself. It will definitely take a long time. You will almost certainly find yourself doing the same parts over and over again. But that is how you get better at something.. That is how things are done.

Anyone is capable of using RPG Maker. It's not a god given talent. It takes practice and practice and practice again. Work on short games that each highlight a particular skill. Like, make one game that has lots of big illustrious maps and nice scenic areas; but don't worry too much about the combat system and storyline. Just do something generic. Then make a game that doesn't necessarily have the best mapping, but use a lot of different events and in lots of different ways! Design an interactive game/puzzle to test your skills. Write a story, don't even make a game at all. Just write a short 2-3 chapter story. Or just a bunch of short stories.

There are a lot of skills needed for game design, don't get me wrong. It's not easy at all. But it's all accomplish-able by one person. Just practice, practice, practice.

Don't be afraid to share anything on RMN, either. Some of us may be judgement assholes, but there are a lot of people here willing to help people. Especially people that are working hard on improving their skills.

Once you have a good compliment of skills, and know the software well, that is when you start worrying about making some sort of Magnum Opus so to speak. But you need to try a lot of things first. Hell, you need to fail a lot too. That is how it works.
Thanks for the advice dude...but...I'm already so far in the game, that if I were to at least try and fix parts in this game, I may as well be saying, "**** it!", well...
Also, about what you said about my game having a dramatic storyline:\
1.Alot of Sonic games have epic storylines now.
2.Well, I said it was supposed to have a dramatic storyline, when you, from what I understand, you are saying that I was actually making the whole game an epic. Well...it wasn't suppose to be an epic! Well...o.k...I was saying that I was pulling jokes in it. Really, I guess I forgot to tell the people an extra part of the storyline after meeting the fake mother of Julie. Basically, during this, what you should do, is go to the church, and then, go to the side with the castle, on the other side of the mountains. When you do so, what is going on in the storyline then, is that the King of Jade is trying to make more territory, in more worlds then his own dimension holds, basically making him a truly evil ruler. Ruler of the universe. And how he has done this, is that he has gotten magicians from the outer realms of Jade to build temples to multiple worlds. And how that works:Each temple is basically a teleport pad to any dimension they are meant to bring you to. The 3 worlds are having there own problems:Mario world-Bowser has finally taken over the Mushroom kingdom. Your role there is to free the Mushroom Kingdom, to gain Mario's trust to help you on your quest... Sonic world-Eggman has another machine for Sonic to beat, and Samuel must race Sonic to the Eggman battle, going through quests after quests to get through the land. Real world-Well...it's basically my life...all you do, is follow me, and try and gain my trust, and then my girlfriend's trust in the meanwhile. What is going on there, is how depressed I got through out the years, I'm getting close to suicide, and if you become my friend, I'll realize I still have hope to stop my depression.

Yeah, that's alot. Still...from what you saw, is it fixable in this late stage of the game...or is it a practice/throw away project?
I would start from scratch. I'm not saying one way or the other if the work you have done is good or not. But take everything you've learned making what you have already made, and apply it again. When that is almost done, scrap it and do it again. If this storyline is what your heart is set on.

There are lots of games on RMN that are on their second or third remake.

I'm not saying it isn't fixable, but I am also not saying it is fixable. I'm saying that you shouldn't expect it to be of commercial quality; especially if you yourself say you aren't good at certain aspects of the process.
Just keep working. I'm working on my game and I have many doubts and things that need fixing, but I know if I can finish my game, I can be proud of it, despite it looking like beginner work.

I'm still trying to work on my first RPG Maker 2003, and it is challenging. I will fall in love with it ,once I get to the later stages of development.

If you were to think of your game as a practice game, think of it as your way of learning the language of your craft. I trust you will do just fine.
