i'm trying to make a picture like in the begining... not a title but a picture. but the bitmap is too high, how can i change it.
ummm....I'm guessing that you mean your image isn't a 256 bit PNG.
Get something like iDraw and save the image as a 256 bit PNG.

8-bit, not 256-bit. 8 bit = 256 colours.
But yeah, get a program like iDraw, load your bitmap in it, convert it to an 8-bit image (*.bmp or *.png) and import it into RPG Maker.

If you have Irfanview you can use that. That let's you save the image into any format you want. Very handy program.

Thanks for the advice people! but i solved my problem, i just had to change the saving thing.

Even so, I highly suggest downloading Irfranview for future use. It can change colour depth with very little/no loss of quality, great if your making your own Title/gameover/ picture or whatever. Much better than Paint.

You should be able to download this off the official site. That's where i got my version from.

I'm sure when you learn to ride a bike you didn't read up on how it works rather you just started to push that peddle and after falling a couple of times you managed to ride the bike eventually. Same applies to Ifranview and most things in life except bungee jumping.
