I recently grabbed an app for IMDB and surprisingly it's quite handy and a good use of what makes that site good. Then I came to the idea of an RMN one, y'know on the go access to managing your game pages, notifications for your notices, texting styled forum posting, and a nice layout for the app to match the main site.
You guys thought about this?

Ankylo has been wanting to do this for a while, actually, but the general idea of it ("Hey, we should have a mobile app!") is pretty much as far as we got.
well you need to have enough money so that you can show that app to the appstore on apple product... and also there is a helpful e-book on the ibook that you can read it tell how to make app for apple product...
the ios developer program will cost you 99$ per year..

I'll be figuring out the Android dev kit later next year, probably muck around with it a bit sooner. Once I get good enough I might take this on. Brainstorming and making some concepts before hand might help though.
All you really need to do is create a mobile version of the website. That way, it simply works for all modern smartphones. A full-fledged native application would be wonderful, but a lot of work.
The SDK is a lot of fun though! I had an app running on my phone in a single evening.

This I a good idea, mainly because my computers broken an I can't upload any pictures of my Progress (since I'm using my iPods notes thingy to do work) so mobile compatability would be nice :)
