RPG MAKER 2K9 ULTIMATE QUESTION

So, I'm currently using 2k9 for the added benefit of additional slots and whatnot. However, I noticed when I was going to copy/paste stuff in my Items database to slots 5001 on up, it does not allow this. Is there any way to deal with this other than manually putting everything in past slot 5000, or am I stuck doing it this way? I ask this because I have a lot of copy/pasting to still do (only did copy/paste roughly 2000 times for weapons alone for Weapon Bless, and need to do quite a bit for Armor Elemental/Status Blesses as well) and it would be quite troublesome to have to do it that way (that, and would those slots still be working for those that don't use 2k9 on their computers as long as it's not touched in 2k3?

And then bulk-paste?

Does that fix your problem? ._.

Edit: Nevermind, I think I misunderstood the issue. Were you able to bulk-paste everything else below 5001?
Well, that's the thing. I have mine set to 10,000. The problem is, if I try to copy/paste anything from #5001 on up, it does not paste it at all. For instance, say I copy #0001: Potion, and try to paste it into slot #5001. It will not under any circumstances paste it there. It WILL on slot #5000, but never above it. That is why I am asking if it's possible to bypass this without manually adding things in afterwards (and whether or not these still are accessed in normal 2k3 with coding and such as long as the database isn't touched). ^^;

Hopefully that clears up any confusion on that? @_@

EDIT - Yay for edits while typing! I haven't tried bulk-paste (as I'm not even sure how that function works at all...)
WOw, that is weird/ Just tried it myself.

Even with multiple copy/paste the entries will magically stop at 5001 :s
Yeah, it makes no sense to me (and is extremely inconvenient as now I can't do anything unless I manually type it in, and that can get troublesome if I have to do it roughly 200+ times to have a command ability work, savvy?). I don't know if anyone can patch that up to work with copy/pasting, but somehow I think it's how 2k3 is initially and 2k9 isn't designed to do that? Either which way...makes me sad pandas. Seems if that's the case, then I HAVE to do it manually.... ;_;
Well, seems like I never noticed this issue. Looks like there is a hard-coded limit in the RPG Maker 2003. Unfortunately I do not have time at the moment to find the right spot and write a patch which can be included in RM2k9U... :(
